I don't know if this has been brought up yet but at the end of DA:2 Cassandra says "Disappeared just like the warden, I don't think its a coincidence." I feel like, this is an important line. What do you all think? Do you think our past characters are going to pop up somewhere we aren't expecting? It sounds like her and Liliana have some sort of idea why they both just disappeared with no explanation.

I know it's been stated that we're supposed to meet the Warden and Champion in DA:I at some point. As to what extent, that didn't say. Just that it was supposed to happen

Everything I have read with interviews says we're supposed to *shrug* unless they changed it since then

Honestly, I'm just going to headcanon each of my Wardens and Hawkes' disappearances.  As for in DA:I, we'll just have to see, won't we?  (but yeah, DracoAngel is right)

 

tbh, I'm pretty sure that the Warden and Hawke's disappearances are going to be 1 of 2 things for each.  As we all know, the Warden can die at the end of DA:O, and Hawke can either side with the mages (and become hunted by the Templars) or side with the Templars (and become Viscount(ess)).  Not sure about the Warden-Commander from Awakening, though.

either in the epilogue or codex after Awakening IIRC - it mentions the warden returns to Denerim and then disappears a few years later and no-one knows why.
