If you can't max the game out at 60fps+ at 1080p then DAI has some serious optimization issues. I would OC what you can to get the most out of it if you're comfortable with that.

I'm looking at a 780 Ti myself and would've already built a rig but if the 800 series rumors are true then it will be worth the wait. I might end up building a rig after DAI comes out. I'm hoping the 800 series drops around the same time.

Would depend on various factors. Usually you can do some decent OCing on air if you have good enough heatsinks/coolers on the CPU/GPU, fans and airflow. If you're talking extreme then you're going to have to look towards more advanced cooling. What case are you using? If you plan to do some extreme OCing I recommend a Phantek Primo or if you want a case that has excellent features+noise cancel I would go with the Fractal Define XL R2. Both have a lot of room in them. The Phantek Primo is very mod friendly.

Here's some OC guides if you're interested:

At stocks settings with your listed above specs I'm sure you can run the game at 60fps+ at 1080p though. Possibly even 1440p. 780 Ti pretty much slays anything at 1080p and is more a 1440p GPU.

Your motherboard is not going to support that CPU without a BIOS update.

Get a z97 motherboard, that way it will be compatible with Broadwell if you decide to upgrade later.

This isn't a topic about asking whether you can run it, it's a topic about bragging how awesome your PC is.

You aren't going to need to overclock a rig like that, you can if you want to but it is going to be plenty fast to play DA:I.
