Hey all,
PC interface is unique, we've said this in the past a number of times. Hot bars, mouse etc. We've also said multiple times that tactical cam is on all platforms which includes (PC, X1, PS4, PS3, 360). We've shipped a unique PC interface on all DA games before, there's no reason we would change that now.

User
Is the camera of tactical mode of DA:I always locked to the cursor? Even on PC? Also, can we see the mouse & keyboard UI?
It is not locked in the same way, no. Closer to an RTS

YOU USED PLURAL THAT MEANS MULTIPLE BARS ONSCREEN SIMULTANEOUSLY RIGHT?!!!?
Well, I'm going to assume it does and reserve the right to be all "I am disappoint" if it doesn't. That's how this works, right?
I'm more than happy for a response to PC gamers. It greatly convinced me that i shall pre-order it on Origin. Any chance of a video on the game played on PC with KB&M?
It's already been said that the PC version will feature gamepad support hasn't it? Has anything been said on whether using a gamepad on the PC version will change the interface to the console interface (I assume it would, but just wanted to check to be clear)?

Yes, that was basically the purpose of this thread and it's been confirmed by multiple Bioware sources. Thus far the gameplay vids released have all been running on the pc version but with the controller ui (looks like it's a simple auto-detect feature built in the pc version)

Hopefully, we'll be able to manually select which one we want. I have a controller plugged in for action games, but wouldn't want to have to unplug it just to play party-based tactical RPG the way I want to play it.
I also hope that this "unique interface" will contain not just the obvious skillbars and need to click on stuff instead of pressing "A", but things players rightfully expect from good PC interface: efficient use of screen space (more than 720p), ability to drag-and-drop, context menus on right click, ability to use double click to select things (instead of having to select with single click and then click a on-screen button to confirm), and keyboard shortcuts for different menu screens. And probably other things I forgot right now, but lack of which is always noticeable.
They made a lot of promises about ME3's ending and the quality of DA2, too. For the record.
Pre-ordering gets you what you deserve, though.
Sounds like someone is having a fit of Nerdrage.
It'll be okay. EA is partnered with Microsoft and as such they prefer to show things on their platforms. Its like low level subliminal advertising.
Uh, isn't Windows part of the Microsoft platform? And given that most PCs run widows, it's odd to separate Xbox vs PC as opposed to Xbox vs PS, the latter being more unique in terms of companies and their profits. So, yeah, not really seeing why we've only seen things on XBox so far and Misoft is acting like they don't also have a stake in PC

We've only seen the PC version with controller UI. I don't think there has been any video of the XB1 or PS4 versions. I might be wrong.
