"The Anderfels are a land of shocking extremes. It is the most desolate place in all the world, for two Blights have left great expanses of the steppes so completely devoid of life that corpses cannot even decay there--no insect or grub will ever reach them.

It is a land filled with wonders like the Merdaine, with its gigantic white statue of Our Lady carved into its face, her hands outstretched and bearing an eternal flame, or Weisshaupt Fortress, with its walls of living rock towering over the desolate plains below.

The Anders, too, are a people of extremes: The most devout priests and the most deadly soldiers, the poorest nation in the world and the most feared."

Par Vollen, I am incredibly interested with the Fex, in hopes they might be a bestial or even reptilian race.

Learning a bit more about the Qunari and getting far far away from the Chantry as possible is also a good thing.

Tevinter is the next thing on my list, followed closely by the Anderfells.  (I might even rank the Anderfells as above, but the initial awe of the post apocalyptic desolation would wear off eventually)

I mean, as someone sai d, it's basically Rome with magic.....frightening prospect. The only nation that is/was able to push the qunari back, correct?

I think Pre unifie d Ferel dan sounds cool

Seheron mainly. Would love to see the clash of Tevinter and Qunari cultures, their millitary engagements with each other. Oh and of course the Fog Warriors.
And of course Tevinter and Par Vollen, Would be very interested to see the Qunari capital

1. Northern continent

2. Northern continent

3. Northern continent

Humans and (later) Qunari came to the continent of Thedas from the unknown lands across the sea. Why did they leave? Was there a cataclysm? Fighting? Religious schism? Were resources running out? Or was it just for trade?

What's the attitude toward magic there? Do they share the same Fade? Could Dreamers communicate across the continents?

I hear that WoT 2 talks more about the unknown lands, so here's to hoping we visit it someday.

Ones that are very unusual, like Tevinter and the Qunari lands. I want to see how bad Tevinter really is, and whether there is anything there that is actually better than the rest of Thedas. It doesn't seem likely that it's just a den of evil with no good points. And we know so little about Qunari life that it would be interesting to see them in their own society, as well as how the Tal Vashoth live.

Other than that, perhaps Antiva and Rivain. They don't seem to quite fit the standard mould, what with the Crows and prevalence of hedge mages.

Par Vollen without a doubt. Just to see all the flaws such a society would exhibit. Somehow I don't think it works as well as Sten and the Arishok claim.
