Because.
Asari Adept with the Paladin.
Just unlocked the Krogan Soldier.
Took him for a spin in a Bronze solo, quite pleased with the kit. Used a no inferno grenade build with a Graal Spike Thrower as a weapon. The gun's pretty devastating on-host, scores headshots without really trying. He's built like a tank and didn't go down once, glad to have finally unlocked it after 170hrs of play. Also unlocked Reaper Mastery with the kit, certainly a fun one to play!
Just got the Lancer.
Gave it with Extended Barrel III and Level III Cryo Ammo to a Quarian Engineer (with the Incinerate bonus to chilled targets & Turret Flamethrower). Took the combo on my first ever solo (Bronze) against Geth.
The only kit I always use two weapons on is the Destroyer - Adas and Black Widow, usually.
I have been packing an Acolyte secondary more frequently on my other kits, though, just for Phantoms. Phantoms can screw right off.
Edit: I may have misunderstood the topic of the thread. I thought it was about two-weapon kits? Not sure now based on all the other posts.
Agreed on all points, though sometimes it's the Executioner Pistol on the Destroyer.
If this is about 2 weapon kits, I'll also always carry a machine gun as secondary if I'm using the Suppressor as a primary, so that usually applies to the Volus and Asari Adepts - stasis headshots (hopefully) for mooks and more ammo against bosses.
