Of Orcs and Men.
The interactions between the two main characters alone made it awesome.
There is a prequel due out this year. You play as Styx.

Freespace and Arcanum get my vote. Also I would like to see kotor continued in single player rpg, or even fps mode ![]()
Continual of Jedi knight/outcast/academy/arghsomething would be nice to see too.
What else?
Difficult to say, all the old good stuff, like doom, fallout, mass effect, wolfenstein and plenty of others is still in development.
Stuff like monkey island, space quest etc. were nice at the time. I am not sure I want to see a new graphical adventure with text parser any time soon.
I would like to see a sequel to Limbo. That game was one of the best indie games of last gen and had some great puzzles and art design. I want to know more about what happened after the end too.
Freelancer, anyone?

Yuss!
Next time around with a couple more approaches to the main-plot, if possible. Would be refreshing to go a criminal route and have that reflected there-in.
(not necessarily having any big-evil-voodoo-bad aliens or similar would also do)

They're making a new game called Inside, with a similar sort of gameplay. Different story though.
Personally I don't think the story of Limbo really needs a sequel.
Chronicle's of Riddick.
Alpha Protocol.
This
Solstice, Kid Chameleon, Altered Beast, ToeJam and Earl, Brutal Legend, Warhammer 40k Space Marine

Assassin's Creed Goblin-edition? Yeah, looks cool.
This game needs a sequel, it needs to happen already.

Does Dragon's Dogma count as 'obscure'? Playing it sure feels a little obscure. Perhaps because it's from Capcom?
Call of Duty.

Jade Empire, Alpha Protocol and Vampire the Maquerade: Bloodlines
A VTMB sequel would be awesome! So glad somebody put that on my radar because I had a lot of fun playing it.

Star Wars: Jedi Knights: Jedi Academy will not get any sequel. Moving forwards, everything from the previous Star Wars "Expanded Universe" (i.e., all the previous novels, Dark Forces, Outcast, Academy, Knights of the Old Republic series, etc.) will NOT be considered as canon. That's what Disney has decided after taking over the Star War franchise. Disney is scrapping everything from the past and starts over. Only the six movies are considered as canon.
Vampires: The Masquerade will also NOT be getting any sequel. White Wolf Publishing discontinued the Vampires: The Masquerade gameline in 2004, and replaced it with Vampires: The Requiem. Masquerade and Requiem have significant differences in history, clans (or bloodlines), lore, etc. Although (based on what I've read) most people considered the Masquerade as far superior to the Requiem, White Wolf Publishing is no longer willing to license the Masquerade. White Wolf Publishing wants everyone to switch over the Requiem. Awhile ago, I read that some European developer approached White Wolf about doing another Masquerade game, but White Wolf kept pushing them to do a Requiem game, so there was no deal. Apparently the World of Darkness MMO development was shut down over disagreements on this very same issue. Basically White Wolf Publishing wants to kill off the Masquerade and forces everyone to adopt the Requiem. So I doubt we will ever get another Masquerade game.
Too Human? Honestly, the gameplay wasn't great but I really liked the story premise (Norse Mythology as a story of prehistoric cyborg "gods")

They definitely deserve sequels though.

I would love to see more of this game. The story was on the meh side, but the four player local drop in/drop out co-op made it one of the most memorable RPGs I had the privilege of playing.

This game needs a sequel, and no I don't count that cheap MMO-esque rubbish as a sequel. Army management/Third person hack and slash hybrid. What's not to like?

Already mentioned, but man I would love another one,
A proper sequel with all the awesome open world destruction. Armageddon was linear garbage.
