Kinda tired of seeing all these threads pop up, so I thought I'd put it all together on one thread.

EA has a promotion with Dr Pepper to bring unique downloadable items if you purchase some soda. Games that get extra items includes Sims 3, Spore, Battlefield Heroes, and on January 26th, Mass Effect 2.

Every soda wins.

Each of the items cost one code. You can choose which helmet (or visor) you unlock.

Codes are universal. Work on PC or 360

When you put in the code, it will also ask for what kind of bottle it is, where you got it, and what flavor. Beyond that, it doesn't ask anything else.

The items you gain through this for Mass Effect 2 are two helmets and a visor. No one knows what they look like yet. They won't have any Dr Pepper logo's on them though. Unfortunately.

In order to gain these prizes, just purchase the correct Dr Pepper (has an EA logo on it, hard to miss) from local grocery stores or gas stations. Depending on the area you live in you might have to wait longer before your stores are stocked with the correct soda. Look under the cap for the code, and then go to www.drpepper.com . Click on the EA promotion, create/sign in to drpepper.com account, enter code, and bam. This gives you a credit to cash in for a prize of your choice. You can cash in the credit now to see the prizes, but Mass Effect 2 will not be available until January 26th (when the game comes out). If you cash in the credit, go to the EA promotion on drpepper.com, login, and then click Code History. This will allow you to return to the prize selection page (assuming you didn't select something already).

EXTRA NOTE! Due to the 'No purchase Necessary' in the promotion's rules, if you call, e-mail, or mail Dr Pepper they will send you a code for free. If you are unable to find the correct sodas in your area I'd suggest you do this. This only applies to American residents. If your out of the country, your SOL unless someone gives you a code (although this isn't permitted through the Terms of Agreement for the promotion).

I think that's everything.

Nope, I'm sorry. American Dr Pepper distribution is different from European Distribution. They would have to strike a deal with a completely different branch of Dr Pepper to get them in Europe. Your SOL unless someone gives you a code.

There's 3 DLC items available. I think it's 2 visors and a helmet.

Thanks for the info, jakl201. I've seen several references to this, but hadn't bothered to dig into and get solid info. Doesn't hurt to have more DLC codes, especially if it's no purchase required!!!

How exactly do you 'contact' dr.pepper? I tried looking for an email on their site but due to them leaving it off or me being an idiot i couldn't find it.

Would appreciate the help ;p

Go to drpepper.com, login to your account, click the promotion, and then go to help center. Choose 'How Do I enter without purchase?' type in that you'd like a code, and then bam. You start the process.

Does each code unlock one of three items, or does one unlock all of them?

Now my question is this... For Spore, all the various creature parts were a 'bundle', that you get for one code. On the other hand, all the Sims items were given individually, which would mean a separate code for each item. Do we know yet which way the items for ME2 are going to be?

Has anyone been able to verify that they got the code for free from emailing Dr. Pepper?

It's gonna be like Sims 3. One code per item.

And yes, you will be mailed a code for ME2. It will just take awhile.

That is against the Terms of Agreement for the contest. If someone is giving them out, keep it to messages.

So if I buy 3 Dr. Peppers and get 3 codes, I'm guaranteed to get my 3 ME prizes?

Possibly stupid question but I'm gonna ask it anyway. Are these codes for Xbox 360? Or just PC? Or both?

The codes are for both..I believe that the codes will go on the Cerburus Network site so you can put it on either system.Posted Image

If you use the same e-mail account/EA account, you will be able to use the codes on both systems regardless of purchase. (i.e. if you obtain all three items by using the codes, you will not have to put in more codes to put the items into your other system.)

What I want to know is if I ask the Help three times if I'm guaranteed to get my three Mass Effect Prizes
