I can plan out as much as I like, but in the end I'll probably do no more than 3, just like DAO and DAII.
Male human mage, female dwarf warrior, male elven rogue are my plans right now.

6 Inquisitors at least, but it takes more playthroughs untill the role-playing is perfect (doesn't necessarily mean "save everyone").
I'll start probably close to... 80 or so? I doubt I finish that many though.
How many playthroughs?
ALL OF THEM.
Human Noble Warrior Male
Human Noble Rogue Female
Human Mage Female
Dalish Elf Warrior Male
City Elf Rogue Female
Elf Mage Male
Dwarf Noble Warrior Male
Dwarf Commoner Rogue Female
at the very least 4... first play through will be spoiler free making a ton of "mistakes", then 2, 3 and 4 with be "perfect" canon runs.. then we will see.
None or way too much depends how you look at it. I don't plan playthrough in advance before I finished the game once and I have restartitis.
It depends on how much fun I am having.
It depends on if there is a new game+, how much we can improve our character/equipment and how long it takes me to find an optimum build for my mage. By optimum I mean I'm not left thinking that taking an ability was stupid because I never use it. That or there is something clearly superior in terms of character performance. Improving upon my character is a big draw for me when it comes to a game. I won't even play a game that doesn't have some form of leveling system.
Typically I play through a game as many times as it takes to make my character as powerful as she can be and get everything that can be got. Take Mass Effect 3. I wanted every weapon at level 10 and I wanted to make sure I'd picked the best power bonuses and armor for a sentinel. Final Fantasy Lightning returns I've played through around six times despite it's rather lacking story simply because Lightning grows more powerful with each play through. It's one thing to be able to smack an enemy on easy and they drop instantly it's another thing to be able to smack them on hard mode and they die instantly.
At least eight, which probably already means that I'll spend a thousand hours playing this game ... Maker have mercy on me, my job and my social life ...
It'll depend.
For example, while DA2 wasn't a bad game (average imo), I coudln't do many playthroughs because I just got so sick off all the repeated environments and that we couldn't play as an elf to change things up. I only finished 2 playthroughs I think.
Origins on the other hand had way more replayability. I finished at least 6 to 8 playthroughs of that game and started waaay more.
I of course hope it'll have the replayability of Origins. The fact that they won't reuse environments that much and gave back race selection gives me hope.
That depends on how enjoyable the game is! (I'm sure it's great)
For now I would only plan 1 or 2, one for each gender, and if I like it I will try each race.
Well, since I've done three Origins and Awakening (plus DLC) runs, then three coresponding DA 2 (plus DLC) runs, I'll wager it will end up the same in Inquisition. They'll probably be a Male Qunari Mage, Male Elf Rogue and Female Dwarf Warrior.
I plan a single playthrough to get to know the game and then multiple ones to explore different choices, among those who to romance. Every time I try to pick a race/gender/class I change my mind though. I'm probably going to wind up doing a male and a female inquisitor first because I can't decide which voice actor has a more awesome voice.
I`m planning at least 4, one for each race.
I've only planned 2, but I'm sure I'll have more that that.
I've thought of two so far, but I'll do as many as I can for as long as the game holds my interest.
I managed to play Dragon Age Origins close to 10 times, trying to play each origin with each gender... plus doing the origins with different choices (helping jowan, letting shiani get raped) In fact, i am currently playing through right now as a female dwarf, noble origin. Just being nicer this time, and romancing Alistair instead of Zevran.
With DAI it really depends on how much your race/class/spec effects the game... if not much... 2-3, if it effects it enough... then yea, as many as Origins.
It's hard to say. I tend to replay BioWare games more than any other. I could say "Yeah, I'll play it two or three times" but I could easily double or triple that number over the course of following months and years.
Maybe
Qunari Mage Female
Elf Rogue Female
How about you guys? I've seen variations on other posts, ranging from 2 or 3 to 11 or 12!
I'm planning on a playthrough with a Dalish, Dwarf, and Vashoth. My first will likely be my canon run, and I'd like to see what the other two offer because I think they could be a lot of fun. I had a blast with a Dwarven Noble in Origins, and I'm hoping these two can also provide some fun, especially if the world reacts to who you are (and doesn't arbitrarily ignore it). I'd like to see how their culture impacts their perspective, and our choices. I'm curious to learn more about these backgrounds since Vashoth culture, in particular, is a rather big question mark at the moment.
My plan is for my elven Inquisitor to be a mage, but I'm undecided about my dwarven and qunari; I need more information about their background before I can make any concrete plans for either one. Importing a post-Magi Boon (with an elven mage) run. No romance planned with my Dalish; I simply don't see any of the options being viable for anything long-term, since I'm planning on playing my character as someone who will want to be with the People when all is said and done with this shemlen organization.
So far I have only 3-5 really concrete playthroughs outlined(well, as much as they can be outlined having not played the game)
Once I have played the game thoroughly, however, I'll probably plan out at least one of each gender/race/class combo. Whther I'll actually have time to play them all is another thing entirely.
All of them.
