It depends on how many achievements there are.

I'll start probably close to... 80 or so?  I doubt I finish that many though.

That's all?

If I can do as many playthroughs as I have with ME3(currently getting ready to do playthrough #***) I will be a happy camper. It will all depend on how long it will take to finish the game.

I couldn't really say right now really, but, I could see myself playing through the game a solid 3 times, with different Inquisitors each time. Basically, a playthrough of the game with a warrior, a rogue, and a mage (my first playthrough).

Depends how fun the game is. Even if i love the story and such and want to play it several times it won't matter if i am simply not having fun playing the actual game. That was my problem in origins, loved nearly everything about it except the combat which i found boring and bland and therefore barley got one play through finished (thank goodness for the keep!). Inquisition's combat looks a lot more fun for me but i'll wait until the games out to see how many times i will play it.

As long as the games endings don't completely kill my desire to replay the game many times... Play through Count - At least 1 of every race/class combination so at least 11 but i'tll be a lot more provided the endings aren't... oh screw it , as long as they aren't Mass effect 3's endings that completely killed any desire to replay the entire series!

At least four, one for each race. I'll probably eventually end up with more than that though, or even tweaking a previous Inquisitor to use with a different world state if I end up deciding I like a different combination more. No idea if I'll end up doing every romance; I did eventually in both previous Dragon Ages, but there were half the options - ME had more and I never did them all. Some just don't interest me. Never know though, Inquisition might be a first.

I have no idea. I have finished at least 15 complete playthroughs of DAO (including all DLC), at least 8 in DA2 and I don't know how many incomplete games in both. I just started up a DW Warrior City Elf in DAO, so I'm still playing that game, and I'm still finding stuff in there I haven't experienced. This new game looks like there is even more to experience so I have the feeling I will be spending a lot of time in that game. On top of that, there is also a new race to play as, so I'll say at least as many playthroughs as I have in DAO, but probably more.

At least 2, male and female. After that it depends on the content and replay-ability still left.

So far 2, a Necro and a Dwarf Warrior.  How many more depends on how imports or the keep actually works when it comes out, if the Keep ends up total crap and we're still allowed imports than I will likely have to replay Origins/2 to create worlds leaving me less time to actually play Inquisition.  On the other hand, the only other game coming out that I'm interested in is Witcher 3 which is 6 or so months later.

I have 12 worldstates I'm interested in seeing ... and there are 9 specializations, so I'm planning 12 or 9 but it could easily be more or less ... (: We'll have to wait and see! I'm so excited.

One for each gender + race combination, so eight...at the very least.  I am one of those people that needs to experience the game from as many perspectives as possible because otherwise I feel like I'll miss out on content.  I've never not played as all of the race and gender combos on games that give you a choice.  It was one of the things I really missed about DA:O.  Hopefully combat is better this time around, though.  :P

Was planning to do 3 in all of the non-human races. Might do a human character too, but not until I have played all the other race options ;)

It all depends on how good the game is. Origins I had 6 and da2 had 2. Maybe three just to see Cassandra's romance after my 1st two characters romance sera and Josephine

Can i ask how you handled importing? Did you use 2 default ones for your extra 2 Hawkes? And how will you aproach it in Inquisition?

I've wanted to have 6 - 8 Wardens and 6 Hawkes, , but have a problem with needing things to be 'even' lol

I had multi-saves.  My 8 playthrough in DAO had a human/elven mage, human/elven/dwarven warrior and a human/elven/dwarven Rogue. Each has their own story or sort of......   I have restarted a lot of times, especially when I'm "depressed" - instatisfed with how I start.

My main wardens were dwarf commoner, human noble, dalish elf. I tend to reload some of my saves to replay and make decisions based on what i wanted in DA2.

But in DAI, I'm definetely going to use the DA Keep, because I recently bought PS4 console, so i ordered DAI for PS4.

One.

Aye, same here.

I'm not the type to make a million characters;I grow attached to my first, see them as the only canonical version of themselves, and remain playing as them as much as possible(which is why I so heavily hope and push for NG+ or at least the capability to save character appearances in the CC to reuse later).

It makes my choices at character creation vital, though if I'm unhappy, I'll make changes until I'm finally satisfied with my choice of protagonist.

With all the different available options in the coming game, I'll have to make it REALLY count;though if Bioware is smart, they'll include an achievement or two of some sort to play Inquisition to a certain point with every race and every class.

Achievements inspire and promote players to step out of their comfort zone and try something they otherwise would not;in my case, it would likely cause me to play just a little bit with every race and class.

Origins has achievements like that;complete each origin story. To get that achievement, you are inevitably playing as a human, elf, and dwarf, as I did.

While Inquisition doesn't have playable origins to make it easy, if there's a certain point in the early-game that is noticeable and can be reached within a reasonable time frame, I would suggest Bioware have an achievement or multiple related to playing up to that point as a human, elf, dwarf, and qunari, or warrior, rogue, and mage.

It won't cause everyone to have a taste of everything, but it'd help those of us who would.

I've only planned one, but I will no doubt play many and knowing me, I'll probably play my favorite save (probably my first one) over and over again until i'm tired of it. I know i'm weird.

Yea same, i had a lot of playthroughs planned for ME3... all with Shepards i had taken through the last 2 games. Although the ending of DA2 (which i didn't like that much) did not stop me playing that game 3 times.

If I get it, will play till feb.then play Witcher. After a play of that back to DA:I till the next Fallout or Elder Scrolls comes out. With breaks of the previous games. I'm shallow when it come to RPGs only a few I like. :)

I'll usually only play "good" character, so I'm going to try to at least play some "bad" characters as well. At least 10 characters, to be sure.

6 Inquisitors at least, but it takes more playthroughs untill the role-playing is perfect (doesn't necessarily mean "save everyone").

  1. female Qunari mage
  2. female/male Dwarf rogue
  3. male Elf warrior
  4. male Human rogue
  5. male Qunari warrior
  6. female Elf mage

I'm like that, it usually takes me lots of playthrougs to get to the perfect one,  where everything fits just right (every conversation, every outcome for every choice) and that I can consider canon. It usually takes me a lot of time to know the game that well. And then, when I got that perfect playthrough, I still replay it a thousand times more

If that doesn't happen with DAI it would the first time for a BW game
