One, I only like having one canon world state. I'll replay again though maybe on higher difficulties and stuff but even then I'll make all the same decisions. If I want to see alternatives I'll use YouTube.

I always get too attached to my canon character and just can't replay with anything else. I'll switch classes around for variety but that's it.

At least 6 (one for each of my 'official' Origins world state combinations). If the game's that good, more than that. I like to try out different romances, character combos, and I've played Origins and DA2 more than I care to admit. 

 

All I know is I will have at least one of each race (1 human, 1 elf, 1 qunari, 1 dwarf), one of each class (1 warrior, 1 rogue, 1 mage), and one of each voice set (British Male, American Male, British Female, American Female). So at the very least it will be 4 playthroughs minimum, most likely 6. Many more if its really good.

Yea same, i had a lot of playthroughs planned for ME3... all with Shepards i had taken through the last 2 games. Although the ending of DA2 (which i didn't like that much) did not stop me playing that game 3 times. 

 

I had lots of them planned / ready for ME3 , beat it once and haven't touched any of them since lol. Dragon age 2 I can actually play and enjoy.

I was planning on 8 one for each gender and race but there might be more, just to try different choices. Of course it will depend on how much I enjoy the game.

Depends completely on the quality of the game. I had seven playthroughs with DAO and loved every minute of it. I had one playthrough with DA2 because the game was garbage.

 

So I guess we'll just have to wait and see won't we?

Eh... at least 2-3 unless the game is complete garbage (which I seriously doubt it will be).  Maybe more than that, but I doubt I'll try every race and both genders...  But yeah, something would have to go really wrong for me to not play a Dragon Age game repeatedly.

 

Also, I find that it helps soften the blow of retcons to not have a specific canon in mind...

In DAO I started about 20, and finished 3 I believe, one of which went on to finish Awakening.  In DA2 I started about 20 as well, with about 5 finishers.  However, both of those games I stopped playing early for various reasons.  DAO on 360 was kindof ugly and I didn't much like the controls.  DA2 looked and handled better, but the claustrophobia inducing city just doen't hold up to repeated runthroughs.  With DAI's open world I expect that I'll probably keep playing off-and-on until DA4 comes out.

I currently have three planned, however if I enjoy it as much as the previous two games, it will probably be over 10 playthroughs.

Probably at least 3-4. I'll do my "main canon" playthrough first or maybe second, then I'll do few others after taking some breaks. If the game is great and I enjoy it a whole lot, I'll dream of doing up to 8-10 time permitting (it doesn't usually).

Who knows... 5 years later and I'm still playing DAO and have lost count of my playthroughs.  I've played DA2 less just because there are really only two great romances and not a lot of variation in the world compared to DAO but still have played it at least 6 times.

I have 5 playthroughs to import....so that was my plan.

 

But with 8 romance options, I would probably say I'll get up to 8 playthroughs at some point. Unless there's just someone I have no interest in romancing.

I have 11 playthroughs planned. I've put a lot of thought and detail into each of them. Got all the information (import world states, names, races/class/romances, etc.) saved in a document, ready to go as soon as Keep and the actual game is released!

 

I had 10 complete Origins playthroughs, and 8 Dragon Age 2 playthroughs.

Until DA4 is released Actually I've planned at least 5...

 

I want to have 2 males mages (rift/necromancy), a dual wielding rogue (at least) and an archer rogue (all males) and a female warrior who is going to support templars and romance Sera (I always support mages, no matter what, but I wanna see what happens if you support templars and how it affects the rest of the story)

But will be probably more, as I also wanna try qunari and those I've planned are humans/elves... and maybe I'll want to romance Cullen with a girl or Josephine... I don't know!!

I will admit - initially I'll plan at least 3-4 playthroughs for the different romances that interest me.  Then I'll probably put up the game for a couple months and then replay it.

 

I have at least 6-8 playthroughs on DA:O and at least 8 on DA2.  (I actually found that once I reached more than 2-3 playthroughs I found DA2 more enjoyable to replay.  At that point the cut and paste areas didn't bother me as much; by then everything feels recycled since you've seen it so much.)

At least 4.  I'm not much of a planner though, I'll have to play it once before I know what and how many.  At the moment it's just based on folks I need to woo and at least one of each class.
