While a poll-option (currently?) isn't enabled on the forums here, I wish to poll what everyone considered the top-DLC. Please keep your posts aimed at the poll. While discussion is allowed regarding the poll, IF you need to do so do it in an friendly and constructive manner please!

Also, because Dragon Age Awakening is an expansion, it can´t be chosen.

To clarify the poll: you can choose THREE DLC you liked best - and while the topic says most interesting, I won't enforce such a thing.

The top DLC you list gets 3 points (gold), the second DLC gets 2 points (silver) and the 3rd gets 1 point (bronze). I'll keep an tally including the overview of the counts (so if I miscount, you can correct me :) ).

I´ll try to tally at least once a day, but in general more often.

The DLC scores so far:

- Legacy 65 points (16 gold, 7 silver, 3 bronze) (Kantr's silver moved up to gold because he/she nominated Awakening which is as I noted an expansion thus not selectable)

Mark of the Assassin 39 points (9 gold, 4 silver, 4 bronze)

Witch Hunt 22 points (2 gold, 7 silver, 2 bronze)

- Return to Ostagar 19 points (2 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronze)

- Warden's Keep 19 points (0 gold, 7 silver, 5 bronze)

- The Stone Prisoner 15 points (3 gold, 1 silver, 4 bronze)

Exiled Prince 7 points (1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze)

- Darkspawn Chronicles 5 points (1 gold, 0 silver, 2 bronze)

- Leliana's Song 5 points (0 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze)

The possible DLCs to choose from are:

- Warden's Keep (Dragon Age: Origins)

- The Stone Prisoner (Dragon Age: Origins)

- Return to Ostagar (Dragon Age: Origins)

- The Darkspawn Chronicles (Dragon Age: Origins)

- Leliana´s song (Dragon Age: Origins)

- The Golems of Amgarrak (Dragon Age: Origins)

- Witch Hunt (Dragon Age: Origins)

- The Exiled Prince (Dragon Age 2)

- Legacy (Dragon Age 2)

- Mark of the Assassin (Dragon Age 2)

I´ll kick off myself by voting Darkspawn Chronicles with gold, Legacy as silver and Lelian´s Song as bronze.

Happy voting!

Regards,

The Undead HalfDragon, TUHD

Gold - Legacy

Silver - Warden's Keep

Bronze - Stone Prisoner

As for the reasoning,

I haven't played all of them, but I like the ones that expand the lore. Dragon Age is mostly a medieval place and magic is pretty obvious for the most part, categorized and easy to understand. These three take it one step further. They are more liberal with the use of forbidden/blood magic, demons and generally the more controversial side, and add depth. Like for example the interaction between fade magic and darkspawn taint that Avernus explains in Warden's keep, the use of bound demons to power devices in Legacy and Stone Prisoner.

I want to see the more obscure parts of lore in the universe.

Legacy is great from a gameplay standpoint as well. Can't say the same for the others though. The other is Mark of the Assassin, but I don't really like this dlc for a lot of reasons.

Gold - Legacy

Silver - Return to Ostagar

Bronze - Mark of the Assassin

Honorary Mention - Stone Prisoner, Exiled Prince

Legacy wins because of Corypheus. He is awesome.

What all three have in common that makes them winning for me is, that they include many a Throwback and additional Banter. Banter is great, I love it to bits. It is the Way for the Characters to communicate the Relationships between them best (at least until now) and seeing these little Things put them in my Opinion above even the story-heavier or more significant DLCs.

I do feel, however, that the DLCs with Companions are at least worthy of a Mention here, because these tend to factor into the Banter.

Gold - Return to Ostagar (It was a nice conclusion for Cailan's story arc)

Silver - Warden's Keep (I thought it was very exciting)

Bronze - The Exiled Prince (It worked very well with the rest of the game).

But I have to admid that I haven't played all of the DLCs.

Gold: Legacy - Great story and fleshed out the Hawke name and history a bit more.

Silver: Witch Hunt - Really good conclusion if you romanced Morrigan.

Bronze: Mark of The Assassin - It was pretty hilarious.

Not counting Awakening (since its a full expansion), Legacy was the best Dragon Age DLC by far.

Silver - Return to Ostagar

Bronze -  Witch Hunt

Not that I dislike the other DLC. It's that no Dragon Age DLC sticks out to me the way that Shale does.

Legacy - Gold

Warden's Keep - Silver

Return to Ostagar - Bronze

I really like story DLC where I don't have a random character forced into my party for one mission. DLC like Mark of the Assassin that forces me to use a new party member takes a big hit to favorability from me.

For me, it would be:

Gold: Mark of the Assassin (I loooved Tallis, the final boss, the wyverns, sneaking into the vault...)

Silver: Legacy (It's soo good if you take your brother/sister with you and they are grey wardens, and I loved the story as well)

Bronze: Hmmm... Exiled Prince I guess, because I enjoyed the quests (act III -> Leliana! :D) (although I'm not really fond of Sebastian)

I also loved Leliana's Song ('cus I love her) - actually I loved almost all the DLCs, but this is about choosing, so...
