Wouldn't Vivienne partake of even more lyrium than Cullen? Does magic get rid of a potentially distinctive lyrium aftertaste? Might magic not also have a noticeable effect on the way meat tastes? We really do need answers from Bioware to these questions, I suppose.
I was under the impression that Templars frequently ingested lyrium to enhance their abilities wherein mages only use it when they're going low on mana. We've heard of lyrium addiction among Templars as well as seen Templars suffering from long-term mental degradation because of its use. A templar is the one who asks you to smuggle lyrium for them.
If Vivienne only consumes small amounts on rare occasions, I can't imagine it having much of an impact on her flavoring. For good measure, I'd say she should only be consumed 72 hours after any lyrium ingestion.

From what we got from the developers...
Cassandra: an extremely crusty baguette
Varric: beef bourguignon
Vivienne: ortolan bunting
Iron Bull: rump roast (for size) or chili dog (for "deliciously bad decisions")
Blackwall: rump roast "but only if you're the gravy" (citation needed)
Solas: Scotch bonnet candies
Sera: tequila and skittles (uncertain if this actually pertains to her)
So... that leaves Dorian and Cole... what are they?

Viv would be the winner
I think Viv would taste like something fancy like truffles and dom perignon .

Reavers, one of the specializations for Warriors, engage in cannibalism. We've been able to eat people in each of the games.

I'm the one that started asking that question way back when Dragon Age: Origins was in development. Leliana was a macaron. Ser Jory was a potato. It was strange to come back to the BSN and see what it warped into.

Maria.. kinda feel like asking the obvious here.. but is your last name an anagram of "Canibal"?
Caliban is a character from Shakespeare's The Tempest and is believed to be his anagram of the Spanish word canibal, yes.

I'm rather sure she'd taste like pork just like every other human.

Pork's flavor can vary quite a bit.

Oh, thanks!
Leliana's doesn't surprise me (lavender flavoured macarons are my favourites). So, taking the advisors into account, that leaves Cullen, Cole, Josephine, and Dorian to be assigned one. Although, I heard something about "deceptive wax fruit" for Cole, but I can't find the exact undisputed source of info.

I suppose she meant that this was an appropriate way to cook Vivienne if you were going to eat her.

I would say it's more accurate that you can take bites out of people in-combat. Since Devour appears to cost stamina, being able to eat an entire person at once seems unlikely.

Vivienne: ortolan bunting
Well I just got a whole lot more leery of Viv. Ortolan Bunting is horrifying.
For centuries, a rite of passage for French gourmets has been the eating of the Ortolan. These tiny birds—captured alive, force-fed, then drowned in Armagnac—were roasted whole and eaten that way, bones and all, while the diner draped his head with a linen napkin to preserve the precious aromas and, some believe, to hide from God.

Op, you are a strange, twisted lady and I like you
Also, Iron Bull would probably have a pleasant taste being marinaded thoroughly in booze.

Kids in the Hall! Been years since I've seen a clip. Thanks Maria.
So have we deduced the taste of each companion/ advisers perspiration yet?
