Imagine Lawful Neutral, for now? In the first game I was some upstart newbie trying to punch out a large gang of scary monsters, and in the second game I was some random refugee. Never had an opportunity to be so "We must restore order!"before. Or, indeed, become part of a hierarchy where my only seniors/commanders aren't Alistair.

I'm going to very loosely base his personality on Stannis Baratheon. He is going to have a laser-like focus on restoring order to the realm, being utterly merciless to anyone sows chaos, no matter how justified their cause might otherwise be. Rebel mages, rioting elves, and Templars that have broke from the Chantry would have much to fear. Gaspard de Chalons probably won't survive either.

like a chaotic neutral good. does everything she can to protect people. and will take no shhhooty from anyone who wants to try to do messed up things and hurt people when it is not necessary and not in defense. she feels like she has a duty to people to make the best decisions for everyone and to give everyone a chance because life matters and its valuable no matter who you are.

It's hard to say. I'm not really making any solid plans, so I'll just see how it goes when I play.

 

But I suppose, if I were to compare what I see my first two Inquisitors as being like to other pre-existing characters, it'd look a little something like this.

I always wind up playing a good character (chaotic good Shepherd, chaotic/neutral good Wardens, chaotic good Hawke) so I'm gonna try and have an evil play through at least once.

Ha thanks! The name's a dbz reference lol. Usually when I play as a good character I almost always go CG.

If I roll a Mage or Warrior the nearest alignment would probably be Neutral Good. If I roll a Rogue it would probably be more Chaotic Good though less a case of “I defend the innocent no matter what the law says, and if the law disagree with me then F*CK THE POLICE!” More a case of “I will help people and defend the innocent... but when I’m not I rip off my pants lasso Vivienne’s hat with them and put it on the Iron Bull.”

Chaotic Stupid is probably an accurate description of my first play through of any RPG when I go in blind and just roll with it.

Hm, never considered alignment while planning out my characters.

 

Revas would probably be Chaotic Good, Samahl and Issala would be Neutral Good, Hayden would definitely be True Neutral, and Meraad... I don't know about Meraad. Chaotic Good perhaps? Or maybe Chaotic Neutral? Maybe even Lawful Good. Who knows.

I tend to either play a very soft and loving neutral good, or a know-it-all true neutral. Very rarely a chaotic neutral and almost never any of the evil choices.
