pre ordered the digital deluxe back in late April.

I want to buy the digital deluxe version, but it's so absurdly expensive in the UK on Origin. £60 for a PC game? (That's over $100)

Unfortunately, Origin seems to be the only way to get the pre-order bonuses in the UK...

that's ridiculous, why does the UK have to pay an extra $30?

must be a typo...maybe?

I pre-ordered the Inquisitor's Edition even though it costs $209 AUS and I have to pay it off in instalments. *shrug*

I love Dragon Age 2 just as much as Origins and liked Mass Effect 3 and SWTOR just fine, so BIoWare haven't let me down lately.

Have preordered the Inquisitors Edition, will be picking it up along with the Collectors Edition Guide Book and a second Dualshock 4 so I can just swap out when the battery dies rather than be tethered by the ludicrously short charger cord. I have no doubts that I will thoroughly enjoy the game, but then I also thought that Dragon Age II was a step up from Origins in most areas, a few unfortunate mistakes aside.

Delux pre-ordered and fully payed for. Untill BioWare starts releasing a chain of games that are disappointing and that I also don't play much is when I'll stop.

There's been a total of 3 games that I've been 'disappointed' in. Basically, NWN - single player campaign I was upset with, just odd pacing, story was kinda lackluster (in its presentation).... and I played that game for 10 years-ish. The Multiplayer and modules, just the vast amount of community content that they had fostered with that game makes it one of the best they've ever done.

Dragon Age 2 was kind of a disappointment for a multitude of reasons but I still hold for every 2 things it did something weird or awful, it did 1 thing really, really right that advanced the Dragon Age game as a whole. Just all those little bad things that ultimately mired the game. And you know what? I still played through that thing a buncha times and for a game made in a year it was surprisingly long and had plenty of content (all be it, not via new location or maps LOL).

Mass Effect 3 ending, blah blah whine, not what they promised blah blah - all that yeah. It just wasn't what was advertised, theres even a trailer show casing a choice you get to make and the outcomes and when you play the game you get 0 choice and the outcomes always the same. So that's... yeah. Played through the game twice though (with over a year apart between the 2 play throughs mind you). Did a buncha half-play thoughs after that year break with some of the DLC. But man, that multiplayer again, played that for soo long.

Fun thing about ME3 actually, that MP made playing Single player harder haha. I just got so used to having all these more amazing abilities and getting to play a Krogan and giving out headbutts like some kinda massive armored Oprah. That I 'tried' to play the single player few times during that year of just non-stop MP.. and I couldn't do it, just felt so much deader compared to the MP. It took an extended break from the MP and a lack of other games before I actually started up a full playthrough (with citadel DLC).

Anyway point is, even when BioWare is disappointing - it's still better then the 'vast' majority of **** and I'd rather pay full price and play through BioWare's missteps then play half the games that get released each year. Though this time I'm hoping we get a massive, great complex single player with a better MP. Guy can dream right?

Question. If we pre order on Origin do we get at exactly 12:00am Tuesday or does Origin have a specific update time like Xbox

You are allowed to play it at 12:01 midnight on release day, but you can preload the game three days prior.

Pre-ordered going to start slipping the money onto a 'Gift Card' over the next few weeks so I don't have to pay all at once, mostly just because if I can, why not? Oh since everyone else is doing it, why did I pre-order, because even a less than great Bioware game is a good game that I have replayed multiple times. (DA2 for example) so why wouldn't I pre-order this?

I pre-ordered the PC deluxe Edition from my friendly local non franchise game store to support them, plus to ensure I get a copy since they can't pull in as many due to overhead.

Nope just 1$ = 1 Euro = 1 Sterling Pound, such is the case in a lot of E-stores. Apparently in Europe there is an extra tax, but I'm not sure what it is exactly, but E-stores probably get lazy and just not put any currency exchange which is annoying as hell. A 3DS game costs like 90$-100$ here.

I don't know... normally PC games are £30 here, £40 at most. I'd have expected the digital deluxe version to be £40 or so, but nope.

The only thing I preorder/buy day one are books, and only from two authors. I've never pre-ordered a game before, but DAI is my first, and I'm filling out the form online as I type this. Was DA2 the best? No, but it was still pretty decent. I still play that and DAO and Bioware is actually the only developer I probably will buy day one, as I wait for Ubisoft and Creative Assembly for a month or two (usually receive them as Christmas gifts anyway).

I actually am slightly worried about getting Digital Deluxe because we haven't been told what the other bonus DLC is, the download is going to be huge, and I love having physical copies. For the DE, I can't justify that shipping price tag and day one shipping from Gamestop sounds, well... untrustworthy. Is it true we can preload and play the day it releases? If so, I'll gladly give Bioware the money now.

Initially, I didn't intent to purchase it, but after some careful evaluation I'd made a nervy move & pre-purchased DAI off of GMG. I've been following DAI for awhile now, & in almost everything I follow with intrigue, I see it through to the end. That way, I can be justified in my experiences.

Pre ordered the deluxe edition. I loved DA:O and liked DA2, and I loved ME3 (aside from the last 10 minutes) so I wasnt "burned" by bioware.

Wasn't going to.  Was going to wait to see what the majority impression was, and after like a week or so decide to buy it...  but dat Bog Unicorn, though...  :P

lol, also everything I've been seeing and hearing has really piqued my interest.  I remember when DA2 was coming out, I wasn't excited at all, until like a week or so before when they really started ramping up advertisements.  Even when I bought it, I had a feeling that it wouldn't live up to the first one.  But I was drawn in by the whole "What does it mean to be the 'champion of kirkwall'?  You decide." line.

Mass Effect 3 I was excited for, but I remember feeling very worried about it.  It was announced that regardless of who we chose in the first game, Udina would be the human councelor.  There was also an article that I remember coming out shortly before release titled 'top ten things you need to know before playing Mass Effect 3' which talked about Udina, and Kai-Leng and pretty much boiled down to "you should be reading the books, in order to understand things".  It just gave me an uneasy feeling - but I bought it anyway because I figured I'd finish off the trilogy.

This one...  idk, I haven't felt any of that worry or doubt.  The *only* thing that I have an uneasy feeling about is in regards to the Warden/Hawke cameo that may or may not be in the game...  I'm a *little* worried about them killing off either of them.  Idk why, I just feel like they might - and I really hope they don't.

As for everything else - I'm just reasonably excited.  I like that we can choose between different races.  I like that I can play as a Dalish (because I didn't, in Origins, and I wanted to after trudging through DA2 as a human).  And overall, I just like what they've shown and told us.  So my whole wanting to wait a week, was more because I wanted to make sure.  But I have a pretty good feeling about this game.

If Warlords of Draenor gets released before DAI I won't bother for at least a few months. I like rpgs, but I like mmorpgs more. I also have a no pre-order policy for singleplayer games.

But tbh, even if I was able to play the day it comes out, I still don't think I would. Frankly I was reasonably hyped but the marketing campaign didn't help that much and I dislike a lot of things from the demo.. Still I've played most rpgs since 2000, no reason to miss on one. Even if it doesn't turn out to be "all that it can be", it's still a Bioware game and deserves at least one playthrough.

I already have. I pre ordered the Inquisitors Edition the first day that I could. I'm a sucker for all the little extras that come with collector editions.
