i'm not pre-ordering, info released so far discouraged me (it's becoming more clear every week that this isn't my kind of game - and i was hyped after watching footage last year). i'll wait for reviews
How many are pre ordering the game?

Anyway, no. I am way against preorders. I will buy the game day one but no pre ordering.

Preordered but I'm closer to cancelling now than keeping it, the more they show, the less impressed I'm getting.

Blaming the developpers for people's blind faith, wut.
Of course there IS bullshit, and a lot of it, but if people preorder a game, they have no one to blame but themselves if it doesn't live up to their expectations.
I don't agree with that at all. If the customer based their expectations on what they saw in pre release interviews, game footage, etc and all of that was bogus and never put into the game, then the producer definitely shares some of the blame. Whatever expectations those customers had were literally never reachable because the version of the game they saw wasn't what was released. People follow E3, comic con, etc looking for information to help them make a decision and if that info is fabricated as it obviously was in this video then that's not blind faith, that's false advertising.
I never heard about that Colonial Marines thing because I don't play shooters, but damn that's shameful. I thought Bioware made some misleading statements before ME3 came out, but what was in that video was just terrible.

I've pre-ordered CE version PC from Gamestop UK,also pre-ordered The Witcher 3 CE PC version.
RPGs are my favourite type of games in general and DA/DA2 were good enough for me so DA-I one should be more of the same.
Main problem I find with pre-ordering is availability sometimes ,especially with CE versions etc...

I'm still debating whether to cancel my order and go with the Collector's Edition from GameStop instead.

I have the Deluxe Edition preordered with GAME, although I'm weary of ordering from their website after how badly they handled the N7 Editions of ME3. In that case I was able to order from ShopTo instead, but unfortunately this time GAME are the only supplier of the Deluxe Edition in the UK.

I assume you are talking about console vers. Thought Amazon did it as well?
I just hope that all the Deluxe ed content is worth the price.

Yeah, I'm referring to the console version. I looked at Amazon first, but they don't seem to sell the Deluxe version.
I like the additional in-game content, but what I really want is the included digital soundtrack. What I've heard so far has been impressive.

Wanted to pre-order the collector's edition but it wasn't available in my country, so pre-ordered deluxe. But then came to the conclusion that deluxe was a ripoff so cancelled. Then collector's became available. Pre-ordered that. A few days later cancelled it after deciding it wasn't worth the price and that the objects were not interesting enough.
Will see if I have a PS4 when it comes out. If so, might get standard edition day one. If not, will wait for a price drop (probably only have to wait a month or so).

Haven't pre-ordered, don't see the point since there never is a shortage of the games after release anymore. Will probably buy it withing the first week if the reception is solid.
If you are interested there are pre-order numbers from the U.S up to the 19th of July:

I originally bought it for the extra content, but after hearing some of the music, I'm thrilled to know I'll own the soundtrack.

Was going to preorder it this summer but seeing as the release date was pushed near the end of the year, I will wait little longer before I do

The digital deluxe version in Europe will more than likely not be playable until the 21st.

I won't preorder it for two reasons:
1. It's over $85 in Sweden for the standard edition, way more than I'm willing to pay for a game. I did however preorder Witcher 3 on GOG for just over $60 (and I even got two older games for free worth $12). That's my limit as far as games goes.
2. It's only available on Origin. That's a big reason (besides ridiculous DLC-pricing/BioWare-points) that I never got ME3 and that I waited some 2.5 years before buying DA2.
I may buy it later on if it reviews fairly by players and drops a bit in price, even if it's Origin only.

I'll be pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition from GAME pretty soon. Earned a nice bulk of reward points from buying my PS4 from them so I'm going to use them to grab me some money off ![]()
