I preordered although after a few recent screw ups from BioWare this game is make or break for me.
It's good - I'm back on the fan and hype bandwagon. It's bad - BioWare can't make a quality game anymore and I'm out.
How many are pre ordering the game?

No bandwagon riding here; prefer story driven RPG's to sandbox, though I enjoy both, and Bioware excels in story, dialogue, characters, and Companion AI to other games. While I do not usually pre-order, I have done so with Bioware as I enjoyed their games; even those that have received bandwagon criticism.

Just Pre-ordererd for PC
Green Man Gaming has a 20% voucher for those interested in the PC version. Code is O7CNAE-Z1Y29P-QZAJ1I. Not sure how long it lasts, and no guarantees that it will work.
I dislike the pre-order culture, and I dislike Origin, and I really don't care for pre-order bonuses, but the truth is that the Dragon Age series has been very enjoyable for me, and there really is no close substitute on the market for what Bioware does. Since i will be playing this game on Day One or close to, regardless of critic/fan reaction, a $12 discount is a pretty good incentive for me to preorder.

I admit, I hemmed and hawed for... at least 0.0342 seconds before pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe version.
I weighed the weighty things, but eventually came around to take the plunge.

Not preordering for two main reasons :
_ EA & Bioware dlc policy :
- the 20+ DA2 day one dlcs
- the fact that ME2 & 3 dlc prices at least doubled for the same amount of content (Overlord was 560BW points, Shadow Broker 800pts Omega 1200pts)...oh and ME1 bring down the sky was free on pc for those who remember...
- no sales ever on dlcs nor dlc packages nor a goty edition for having complete games : ME3 without leviathan ? Nope! ME3 at 5$ but still 40$ of dlcs ? Still nope!
_ I only preordered ME2 after falling in love with ME1 and DAO but ME2 was a disappointment because of the lack of exploration (Mako where are you?) and the scenario, or lack thereof, since I expected the game to start right where it ended. And I almost pre ordered DA2...nuff said.
DAI looks great so far and it really seems like Bioware wants to make amend but I'll wait for reviews. I used to trust Bioware and Rockstar for preorders. Only one didn't let me down so far.

No, I'm gonna wait at least 1-2 weeks before I buy it... I've been burnt too many times by pre-orders. And a few in game item aren't enough to justify the risk.
That being said I really do hope DA:I is a success...

I pre-ordered. Not sure if I already posted it here or not.

I want to, but the depth of mod support will make that decision for me. I've yet to see a definitive conclusion on that issue.

Pre-ordered the Inquisitor Edition for the XB1.
I waffled for awhile, but the map and war pieces would look too fantastic in my game room.

A shame there's no poll here (neutral ofc), since it's a topic I've wondered about myself.
As for myself, no. Never again.
I am interested, but this will be the first time since Jade Empire that I don't preorder a BioWare game (heck.. bioware games are the only games I've ever preordered)
What's worse, I actually feel forced to read spoilers/reviews out of fear that this game will sucker punch me like ME3 did. ME1/2, DA1&2 all delivered awesome experiences. I'm sure some of the reason is because I knew next to nothing about them.
This time I'll have to wait until after release, and reading up on many fan opinions, before I can get it. Critic reviews are worthless, as are developer promises.

Not yet. Since it WAS coming out the day before my birthday, I figured I would use the money I budget for my birthday gift to buy it. Then they moved it to the day before my sister's birthday - and she doesn't even play RPGs! *sniffles* Anyway, if it still looks as good to me then as it looks now, I'll likely pre-order it for my birthday present and then wait patiently for a month. Mostly patiently. You know, something pretty much similar to actual patience.

Fan reviews will be just as biased & bad as professional reviews, i fully expect alot of ex fans who hated ME3 & DA2, & who won't even have any intention of playing Inquisition themselves to create reviews saying how terrible it is & how BW sucks, is big reason why id rather play it myself & form my own opinion.

I'm not pre-ordering due to the high price on Origin. I will probably buy it in the store shortly after release.
That is if I don't get it for free. EA occasionally gives me free stuff for being a 'hero' on Answer HQ. ![]()

Pre-ordered the Collectors Edition for pc despite my dislike of Gamestop ![]()
Was tempted to get collectors edition guide but £50 for some bookmarks and a leather bound book is a bit pricey methinks ![]()

Paid mine off other night on Amazon but since they weren't offering a digital deluxe edition I bought the deluxe physical copy instead. Don't think it's any different on DRM aside from a one-time verification to your Origin account.

I think with the time taken for Bioware to do the game, it's a sign they've learned from recent mistakes.

I did place a pre order for the guidebook. The Collector's edition (hardcover) around $28 was a fair price. The Inquisitor's Edition of $72 was way outside my budge, and just way to much for me to spend on a book.

No. I'm going to wait for reviews on other forums before buying to make sure it's not the console action game that focuses more on social justice than game play that all their marketing has made it sound like so far.

Every week the game looks and sounds better and better. IF MP doesn't crap all over SP, I'll pre order in November. For the 360. Some people are still having trouble with Origins and Kingdoms of Amalur. And if the game is better than DA:O and Origins is given a decent won't interfere with a disk loading a game review from fans, I'll buy a second copy for the PC.
They've got to me.
Wonder if they could get me to buy a 3rd copy??? ![]()
Honestly BioWare has done it again.
