I'm happy to say that my concept of an indolent smartass nobleman has survived the background reveal.

I only got screwed over location-wise, haa (no more beach trawling Dalish clan for me) but I think it's ok because my reasons for placing them there have become less and less relevant.
I'm really glad to know just what everyone is actually doing at the conclave finally though, that was a major point that I left out of mine for just this reason.

Well, time to update Corin based on new info.
Corin Trevelyan, Male Human Rogue(Daggers), Named for the Grey Warden who ended the Second Blight in the Battle of Starkhaven in 1:95 Divine.
Concept: Corin was always raised with the expectation that he would join the Chantry. As he got older, he began to resent this. Using any means necessary, he would steal away from his home night after night to hang out with his friends and get into trouble. His talent with knives, as well as his ability to go places undetected was noticed by the one of the Chantry Brothers when Corin and ended up in the Grand Cleric's private quarters, poring over the patents of nobility his parents had given her. Corin had hoped to steal them away but the Brother, a former Antivan Crow, discovered him before he could flee. Far from angry with him, the brother was impressed. He later told Corin some words that would change his life forever, "There are many ways to serve the Chantry, child. Not all of them need to be guarding mages or preaching to the masses." From that day forward, Corin's unique talents came in very handy for the Chantry. He never took any vows, nor did he really serve in an official capacity. But his family knew what he did, and when money was stolen from the Chantry coffers by corrupt priestesses, the Mothers and Sisters and Brothers of the Chantry knew just who to talk to. Corin prefers to use clandestine methods, rather than fight or talk things out. Far from an honest man, his weaknesses are wine, women and song. As to his actual religious stance, he's more on the agnostic side. He doesn't really know what he believes, as he's never really had to take a stand on anything in his life. At the start of the game, this will change radically.
Personality: His wicked and ceaseless sense of humor can annoy his companions, or endear him to them. But for the most part, he doesn't hide who he is and how he feels when matters are serious.
Politics: With family on both sides of the MAge-Templar conflict, Corin only wishes to see them end. The Orlesians can continue to deal with the elven rebellion and their civil war until the Maker returns, for all he cares. Unless it affects the Free Marches, it isn't his problem.
Appearance: Tanned skin, short dark hair and piercing green eyes. He likes bandanas and hats as opposed to hoods.

I know the backgrounds are out, but this is my "headcanon"
Name: Elizabeth Nancy Trevelyn(ENT) This will be my canon character that I will use for mulitple playthroughs.
Class: Mage. most likely Knight Enchanter
Weapon: Staff that can used as a spear. Her staff is powerded by the souls of the ones she's killed. The more she kills, the more power her staff gains. Its also been rumored that when she uses her staff as a spear, it can leave an enemy impaled against the rock. On the top of her staff is an upside down skull that drips blood out of its sockets. If anyone else was to touch or try to use her staff, they would be poisoned and die a few moments later. And lastly, her right hand with 1 inch fingernails that are laced with poison that can rip through the flesh of the enemy.
Physical looks: She is a beauty with very long hair. The color of blood. With eyes that look like oceans and when in combat her eyes change color to a pure black. When she walks into a town or city, men and women stand in awe at her beauty.
Personality: She is evil. She has a black heart. When she wants something done, she will resort to any means necessary to get it done. She doesn't care about the consequences. She has one weakness. Children. Or at least that's if the stories are to be believed. One story that is being told is that several years ago, she saw 2 men beat up a child. She followed them back to their camp where over 30 men resided. During the night she was able to strip them naked , tie them all to the trees and pour oil on them. She took the leader and nailed him to an upside down cross. When the sun rose, all the men watched her skin their leader alive and burn his body. She then burned all the men with their screams being heard throughout the valley.
She went back to the child and noticed her parents were dead by the hands of the bandits. She dug two graves for her parents and then took her to the nearest town to be cared for. She gave the girl a small bag of gold coins. To this day, some believe she is still watching over the child.
Background: She's from a far away land where she learned her skills. She was banned from her land when her people realized her power was too great for them to handle. She ended up in Thedas where she thrived on killing. It was in Thedas where she crafted her staff to fit her needs. She doesn't use blood magic. She considers those that use blood magic as weak and pathetic
When she walks into cities, the air becomes cool, people lock themselves in their homes. They only know one thing. Death has arrived and he** follows her. Kings and Queens bow before her for they not challenge her power. Even the devil approaches her for advice. She will close the veil, but her ultimate goal is to rule Thedas.
Companions: She doesn't need any, but if she has them, she wants them all female. Not because she likes women, but because it gives the enemy a false sense of victory making them weak.
She looks something like this

Human mage, speciality rift magic
Age: 22(like me)
Background: raised in the since tbe age of 7 , nayl never had close relationship with his family aside from his cousin who was a senior enchanter. A magical prodigy by th age of 22 he was a full fledge enchanter known for his dissertations of the fade and the veil. Had the templar-mage war not started he would'v been a senior enchanter.
Personality: sarcastic and a bit arrogant not really caring who lives or dies at the start of the breach. As the story progress he becomes less arrogant and begins to care for the people that follows him seeing them as the family he never had.
Romance: while he neither liked or hated the templars always seeing as a needed gaurdian, he strikes a relationship with cassandra that starts rocky due to her blunt attitude and his carefree attitude but blooms into a mutaul need for each other
Politics: was part of the isolationist fraterniyy but when the war broke out he joined the aquiqarians hopeing for a peaceful resolution. He is overall fair and even handed in his dealings. Preffers diplomacy and espionage over a militant approach
Appearance: dark skinned with a shaved hair cut and a stubble. Wears a black duster and a hat similar to cole's

...I finally drew stuff.
Sorrell Lavellan
Male - Mage
As an elf and a mage, Sorrell is genuinely concerned about the plight of city elves and has trust issues with Templars. His rather bleak view of society and life in general manifests itself as a devil-may-care bravado of dry humour and sarcasm. In battle, he’s a belligerent mage plunging headfirst into the fray with the intensity of a battering ram.
If Sorrell’s an ally, he’s generous and a funny conversationalist. But his being obnoxious and rude is reserved for those he thinks are definitely in the wrong, perhaps to the point that he’ll put the effort into being the most infuriating elven mage anyone had the misfortune of meeting.
Sorrell wears his defiance and aggression proudly. He would make it a point to his oppositions that he’ll be out to make their lives as miserable as that of the elven alienages and abusive circles of magi.
Defining Characteristics: Clever, brave, determined, loyal, obnoxious, rude, vindictive, sarcastic, cynical, loves picking fights, protective of those who are vulnerable.

There's no way it's canonical but I'm keeping that my Hawke, Warden, and Inquisitor are the same person.
Either that or they're just three Lawful Good male mages who look identical.
:-)
Maybe dying your hair snow-white and cutting it that way is the Circle version of the Rachel. Since we can have long-coats now, maybe I can finally make my mage look like Dante like I originally imagined.
