Once upon a time I came across Lia in the keep, her having become a guard. I think I was a warrior but what criteria do you need to trigger this meeting. As I say - has only happened once.

She is not at the Keep, but the Alienage in act 3 - near the base of the stairs. You need to kill Kelder, but there are no other requirements. Having Aveline in the party will net an additional line or two.

Lia is the young female elf you rescue from the magistrates son that kidnaps elven children.

 

Wow, I didn't know you could find Lia again. Next play through I need to actually pay attention to stuff around me lol

I know this is a bit of thread necromancy, but I've been trying to trigger this scene. I've found her and killed Kelder, but for some reason the scene isn't triggering. Is there a trick to it?

Not to my knowledge. You should trigger it by walking down the stairs leading to the alienage in act 3. She should approach from your left (i.e. not Arianni's house's side).

I've never gotten the scene to trigger without Aveline in the party. So you might try that if you haven't already.

Aveline is in my party most of the time anyway, so that is worth trying.
