We'll probably just get the announcement at Comic Con. It's not that far away, and we've waited longer for less.

They have a panel at comic con, so maybe then. They might just give us one, though, like last time. I'd guess Vivienne.

I hope that when they do get around to revealing them they mention the race gates too and don't try and save that for a separate reveal, I may very well literally put my fist through a window if that happens. :/

I think they should just do it in one fell swoop and put us out of our misery.

The bandaid does need to come off though, I'm worried that people are walking away because of how things are here atm, even I lose the plot sometimes and that was something I never ever intended to happen *shakes fist*

I'm fairly certain the Vivienne reveal will come before the last male, I know that makes it sound as I'm convinced it'll be Viv' last but I kind of am.

I'm beginning to think a reason one of the last 2 is going to be held till the end is to minimize the angry reaction when half the remaining choices are going to result in disappointment for someone.  This way the disappointed ones will have a hot new game to console them.  I think one will be revealed at the con and the other is going to be a surprise, and that the revealed one is going to be male (come on, I've got a 3/4 chance, I've got to be right sometime.)

They need to keep some mysteries, game isn't coming for awhile.

Part of me would like them not to reveal the last 2 LIs so they're something to discover in the game. I remember playing Jade Empire and being pleasantly surprised when I could romance Silk Fox as a female protag.

Revealing the LIs also reveals who aren't LIs. You'll see people leaving because of that, so if keeping the companion threads busy were EA/BioWare marketing's main concern (it isn't), then it's fine to not reveal the last two before the game ships.

Actually, wouldn't it be better to do it now so people can get over it?  I remember the outcry when people discovered the sexual orientations of the other characters when they were announced as love interests and it's died down now.

I think they should just release the info and get it over with.

Really, it's only the hardcore fans to whom romance is an important/well-loved part of the game that are really going to rage about it.  And they are going to rage just as much (if not more.... my gut tells me MORE) should Bioware opt to wait until the last minute or when the game comes out to reveal the last LIs, rather than if their LI of choice isn't available.  Having been part of the romance and character speculation threads, there's a lot of frustration already.  And the common consensus is "I can handle being disappointed.  I'll vent, I'll get over it, I'll move on, and try to maybe hype myself up for one of the other choices.  But the idea of having to wait, and be left wondering, only to still be disappointed, really really sucks."

There are some fans who feel like they're just not as important to the devs, because the fans of the released LIs get to celebrate, and plan their characters (for those who use the dynamic of their planned romance as a factor - and a surprising number do) but the rest are still left in the dark (and get to hear all the reasons why their beloved character won't or shouldn't be romanceable by everyone else.)  And there are others who have already pre-ordered the game, and want to go on media blackout to avoid spoilers - and are just waiting for those last LIs to be revealed.

I know some of the LIs were revealed on accident - Cass, Cullen, and Sera, if memory serves, and had they left it at that it would have been fine. I would understand Bioware waiting to reveal the rest until closer to when the game ship or not at all - for the sake of fan excitement/busy forums/whatever.  But since they went and released three more, officially, sitting on the last two makes little sense to me.

I hope the last two get announced at Comic Con, then I can go "Ok! I can plan my Inquisitors now and go cold turkey from the forums to avoid spoilers"

I feel as though there's actually a lot of stuff scheduled for just before the game's release to maintain fanhype. You've got the Keep, for one, which sounds like a veritable petri dish of potential discussion topics. They've also promised more information on the crafting system/war table, likely in the form of a demo, and will also likely be releasing a character creation video demo.

This is all stuff that seems planned for late August through to the release date, in the meantime you've got a month's worth of time with no big buzz. If you want to maintain a steady stream of hype, revealing a romance every couple of weeks until the bigger stuff is ready and polished sounds like a pretty simple thing to do.

That said... I did say a romance every two weeks, it's only been a week since gaymerX and IB's reveal. The next LI might have to wait a little longer.

Never.

Well, I certainly don't expect them to reveal the last two at Comic Con, anyway. At most, one.

I definitely wish they'd just rip the bandaid off already, it's pretty much consuming a lot of the forum at the moment. There was Allan's tweet to Cameron recently, and Allan recently said in terms of marketing the companion stuff is mostly done and they will be soon moving on to other stuff like gameplay. That and SDCC is soon. C'mon BioWare pls.

ComicCon would be the ideal place to announce Vivi's VA and as well if she is romance or not. They can save the last one or two for GamersCom.

I suspect that they may never officially reveal the last two LIs, but we'll certainly know them through leaks and people that get the game early and sundry before the game ships.  It's equally as likely they will announce it at a Con.

I'd rather they talk about the actual game at comic con,  It seems all we get now is romance related news, it's about time we get something else.

And with the remaining two companions being race gated, I highly doubt we'll see it at a panel, because all the horndogs will whine and cry that they can't romance blah blah blah with a blah blah blah.
