Allright, here's my situation:
I am total newbie in modding and yet, it popped in my mind I d'like to change a few things in the game, about companions and NPCs apearance mostly. To get used to the toolset functions I first tried a step by step tutorial to create a weapon. Though I had no idea what I was doing ("open this, click on that, name this" etc), it ended with a crushing victory over the evil toolset. :wizard:

Now I want to change my companions faces (I want Wynne to be black) and with this link from Jackfuzz I first thought "hurray it shouldn't be long nor hard".
It turns out I do have a .mor file of my own (supposingly the black faced Wynne I created with the morph tool) in my Documents/bioware/dragon age/modules/single player/override folder, but no changes to be noted in game.
Since I downloaded some sacred ashes .mor files for Leilanna and Morrigan, I thought that maybe my black_Wynne.mor file should as well go in the Documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override folder, but yeah, nice fail again.

Well, here I am: I am not the lazy type but I do feel I need a step by step tutorial, cause I am starting to feel a bit anxious about messing up with the game files. Of course, the link above might be crystal clear for english native speakers and/or modders but my results in game show I am missing something important.

Can you guys help ?:?
