Is there the option of going it alone if par say we think most of the followers are trash?

I know in BG2 I took the “alone” option once it kinda felt like Diablo, but is it possible in DAI and more importantly is it feasible or will trying it be more or less  a suicide walk?

I think they said that we could finish the game with one companion but we will not know until we play the game.

It was possible in DAO; do not know of DA2. However, as Companion AI, dialogue, and party banter are far above the standards of other games I have played, going solo in a Bioware RPG is not recommended for the first session.

Not only was it possible DA2, but if you did go solo with a sarcastic Hawke, you got some "extra" dialogue.

Sounds entirely too dangerous to me, but I doubt they will force you to have traveling companions.  Nightmare solo runs are a pretty big draw for some folks...

I imagine you will have to over level to the extreme.

Love that sarcastic Hawke sequence.  I'm hoping it will be possible to do at least most of the game solo if you like.  The challenge of the fights is going to be pretty high with the option to turn off autoheal and limited specs.  When I start exploring strategy and combat I'm definitely giving it a shot.  I'm looking forward to adding to my glorious deaths screenshot library, too though, for what it's worth

Hehehe. You want that shiny new suit of armor? Then earn it!

I wonder if there will be an income system, or if we'll have to scavenge like in the previous games? We are controlling a whole organization. Those soldiers and spies will need to be outfitted. Oh, courting the nobles for patronage...

It will be possible, except certain parts of the story most likely. Closing the fade tears cant be done alone obviously, as it showed, the Inquisitor cant move away to help members of the group.

Yes, it was official, you can end the game with only one other person with you.

I will attempt it once but not for the first play through and maybe not the second play through. I love the party banter too much to not keep people home. :)  If I didn't want character building of npcs, I would play Dark Souls or other games that its common place.
