Is there any way to stop the compass from tilting with the camera? Is this a model that can be tweaked? It has always been a minor annoyance, and I was wondering if anyone has a fix for it--basically to keep the orientation so the face is fully visible regardless of camera tilt. Sifting through the models in NWNExplorer I couldn't seem to find a GUI model for it. Is this a hard coded thing? Any ideas?

it is hard coded - i was already looking into nwn hardcode for this myself but not yet found anything usefull
at any way, only NWNCX can do this and only if a player have it installed which he doesnt have to (so not very desirable for PW)

I know there is a texture for the compass. I used the modern alternate gui override and the compass was changed. It looked "not cool" by it either but at least i know there is something you can change. Not sure if that helps fixing anything camera related... i´m sure there is a model too. You just have a hard time to find it. The whole gui is a mess and i never figured out what little box is what little box later ingame or i just had no patience with it...

oh.. yes you are right - the GUI for compass is there, so if the only thing you want is to remove it completely - this should be doable (my intent was to only stop it from moving unless ranger/compass item in inventory)

I don't want to remove it, I just want to stop in tilting with the camera. I've not played with NWNCX--though someone had it working with that, I could easily require my players to have it installed, seeing as the only time we play, we're all in the same room.
