The Tamassran in Dragon Age: Those Who Speak was named a Rasaan and seemed to be a commanding figure aboard the Qunari warship.

 

Does this make a Raasan a commanding officer amongst Tamassran or tamassrans who go abroad from qunari territory to find and bring converts into the Qun? What does Rasaan mean in qunari since qunari members are only named by their role?

Unsure it was likely shortened for the "close minded bas" Need the rest. Only if I'm right of course.
