For me, the Japanese name for the littleneck clam is Asari and its commonly served with ramen soup so it would sound really weird if the ramen shop on the citadel sells asari ramen. Also, Sonax Industries, a mining corporation that attempted to exploit Garvug, shares its name with a brand of car wash soap.
What have you seen in real life that really reminds you of Mass Effect?

Calamari always reminds me of Mass Effect and when I'm playing ME I always imagine the Reapers/Leviathan covered in batter. ![]()

I see things that remind me of Mass Effect all the time.

I once read about something similar to medi-gel being in development. Sometimes when I play the Arkham series, whenever Bats uses his device in order to hack objects, the voice of Tali while being drunk always comes to my mind: "ooooomni tooooool..."
Oh, and when having conversations with some people I can clearly see the renegade and paragon responses available.
Sometimes I need to get a hold of myself in order not to activate the renegade interrupt.

BSN?
Where is the BSN in real life? I would like to visit it someday and do this.

At work, one of the vendors I was dealing with had a last name of Asari. Sadly, this vendor was male, did not have blue skin, had hair instead of fringes, and to my knowledge did not have any biotics.

This is kind of a cheat answer, but I've seen a couple people wearing the N7 hoodies.

I always try to shout out a line from the series when I see people wearing ME clothes. I get blank stares.

I should go. I use that sometimes. The key is to use it at a normal end of a conversation instead of "it was good to see you," you say, "I should go." It sounds really weird.

I can probably never hear or read the phrase 'artistic integrity' again without being reminded of Mass Effect 3. Does that count?

Maybe it's "I *should* go" or "I should *go*"I should go. I use that sometimes. The key is to use it at a normal end of a conversation instead of "it was good to see you," you say, "I should go." It sounds really weird.
Phone won't let me do proper italics. Stupid machine!

When I ask a clerk in a store where something is, they usually say "I don't know" and end up either finding the item myself or asking someone else.

Perhaps they got a little overconfident after increasing the number of color swaps to three, instead of the customary two in ME1 and ME2's endings.

In the Engineering Building at campus, I saw a guy wearing a N7 Hoodie. I went up to him and did my best imitation of a Reaper's...bellow (not sure how to describe it, but you all know what I'm talking about). Now, I like to think that my imitation isn't so bad that a fan wouldn't recognize it, so either I'm wrong or the guy had no idea what Reaper's sound like, because he stared at me and walked away.
