I haven't played mass effect 1 and know pretty much nothing about it but I'm thinking i will buy ME 2 because it looks fricken sweet. So I was just wondering about the squad mates you find along the way. Do they stay with you the whole game and help you out? If they die is there a way to get them back or recruit new allies? Or can you just go back to a previous save point to get them back again? Also can you control them (tell them where to move, give them orders to hold fire etc.)
