I'm really not into excluding anyone because they don't feed my ego as a player, other than Leliana and Baelor (specific character, you know who you are for allowing it), and the reason I exclude them is because they ruin party mechanics. I suppose what I'm doing is expressing the very sincere hope that if certain assets are to be exploited the consequences of the player's choices will include positive and negative. Another way of expressing my desire is to say that if a player decides that Leliana is too perfect to exist I'll be able to shut her up without consequence. I doubt that's likely so I'll probably have to play nice with the old blow-hard, but still.
I'm completely fine without the experience, loot, approval, or whatever else for DAO. Just let me express in steel that she's too perfect to exist in the real world and I'll be happy. I guess they do that if I don't cheat. Every time I turn around it's an example of a conspiracy.
Or it could be that cheating hurts your enjoyment of the game. Nah. I've got my strategy playthroughs and my story ones. Maybe in inquisition I'll finally be able to humiliate Leliana like she deserves for being better than the PC at finding/disabling traps. I will confess that I make her walk right on top of a trap she misses if she hits a random one in the early game.
