That's still no excuse for her to have aged like an overweight housewife (!) - She is a WARRIOR for god's sake, she stayed in training (and combat) all those years, so she is supposed to look fit (and that would make her beautiful IMHO) and not like she is an office sitter/civil servant who does not need to do anything but get payed and sit somewhere doing nothing...
Fit people do age better than this (I should know - I have an aunt who is 60 and looks better than most people do at 40-45...she keeps fit by nordic walking and eating healthy (and the walking is less hard than training for warriors, from sword fighting to running in full armor!))

Ohhhh boy. You have some seriously strange standards.
In what universe does the character model for Cassandra come across as overweight? She's wearing full plate armour and even then she's still got quite a trim figure. And her face is angular and strong-featured, no spare weight anywhere.
She has scars, she looks like she's been through some struggles, and she looks fierce and battle-ready. All of those things have come from a life of action and fighting, not being a yoga-modeled gym bunny. I'm sure your aunt would look considerably different had she been hefting armour and regularly attacked with swords. As it is, I happen to think that all the female characters in Inquisition look great, and more than that-they look like individual people, not just sexbots with different hairstyles.
I do worry a bit about the people who get so concerned about the looks of virtual characters. There are thousands of places in this world to find women that match your particular requirements to objectify and perve over, one video game really shouldnt be such a big deal.
