That's still no excuse for her to have aged like an overweight housewife (!) - She is a WARRIOR for god's sake, she stayed in training (and combat) all those years, so she is supposed to look fit (and that would make her beautiful IMHO) and not like she is an office sitter/civil servant who does not need to do anything but get payed and sit somewhere doing nothing...
Fit people do age better than this (I should know - I have an aunt who is 60 and looks better than most people do at 40-45...she keeps fit by nordic walking and eating healthy (and the walking is less hard than training for warriors, from sword fighting to running in full armor!))
greetings LAX
Have you ever actually seen what a real female warrior looks like?
Constant training, harsh living conditions, potential wounds/scars and both heavy mental and physical stress is a lifestyle that will not likely make you look "good" if you judge by a standard of beauty based on busty/anorexic movie actresses/fashion models.
In this sense, fit =/= "beautiful", or else the army would be entirely manned by supermodels that would make Hollywood stars pale in comparison.
The standards of beauty generally conveyed by mass media are quite far from what a realistic healthy human being looks like, let alone a realistic soldier.
Find a girl who can do hand stands in a suit of armor for a decent amount of time, and that's already a better estimate of how much muscle mass a warrior would need.
