Yeah I like the design as well, and as a straight male, I can't deny the sex appeal of the chest hair.

While I really liked Varric as a companion, I wasn't among the many who wanted to romance him in DA2 and for DAI I wasn't sure I wanted him as a romance option either. And now I saw those pictures and hello there, I totally want him as an option. Pretty sudden change of mind

Time to do side quests, explore areas throughly, etc.: 100 hours

 

Time spent staring at Varric's chest: 200 hours

 

On later play throughs, I may be forced to dress him in something less revealing so I can actually finish the game in a more efficient fashion.

It just seems so cruel to make him even hotter than before (thanks, Frostbite 3!) and then not give us all a shot at hitting that. It's like the Inquisition is a dessert buffet and the chocolate cheesecake has a 'property of Bianca' flag on it, only she left an hour ago and shows no sign of returning for it.

I think my first Inquisitor is going to strive to found the Stripquisition, with Varric, Iron Bull and ... well, everyone else seems to be wearing too many clothes. I guess I will bring Vivienne or Dorian depending on who seems likely to enjoy the show more. (Where's Isabela when you need her?)
