So if Conner is dead, the epilogue says that Eamon has another child

Lady Isolde bore her husband another child, this time a girl. The birth was difficult, however, and Isolde died in Eamon's arms. He named the child Rowan, after his own sister, and raised her with a loving hand. When she began to exhibit affinity for magic at a young age, he gave her over to the Circle for training--but continued to visit her and loved her no less than before.

Does she still exist even if Connor didn't die, and he it's just not important enough to mention when Connors fate needs to be discussed? Could she be run into in Ferelden?

Do you think they made sure Eamon always had a living mage child was because they want to do something with him and his mage kid in DAI?

If she is, she doesn't always kill Isolde in childbirth then since she is alive in MotA.

Remember the DAO Epilogue slides should be taken as just rumors and not canon.

Sorry, I meant do you think they make sure he has a mage kid no matter what because they want to do something with him and a mage kid of his in DAI.

I mean it's been ten years so either can show up if they exist.

I think they probably wanted to make it seem a bit less tragic if you killed Conner but on the whole this is the least likely outcome.  I think most people would have opted to get the Circle involved or failing that to sacrifice Isolde.    Either way neither offspring may have survived recent events.    If you feed in Connor surviving to the Keep, and you didn't make any sort of deal with the demon, we may encounter him because I believe he became something of an expert on the Fade and Fade spirits, so may be he may have encountered Solas in the Fade and the latter may know where he is.      Or he could simply be among a group of apostates from the Ferelden Circle that we encounter somewhere along the way.

My guess is probably not.

Age would get to creeping on Isolde and the only reason for Eamon and her to try and have another child is to produce an heir (recreational love making notwithstanding). If Connor is alive they're less likely despite Connor being a mage and relinquishing his claim to Arling of Redcliffe. It would be too much of a risk (she does die if they try again) and at least they still have Connor and an heir in Tegan.
