Nowadays, as in-game and in-engine graphics continue to get better and better, CGI trailers are not really needed. The only thing cinematic trailers really have over in-game and in-engine trailers is better, more like-like animations, and a tad better graphics (though, like I said, the gap between CGI and in-game is becoming less and less as time progresses).
Also. I'd prefer to see in-game and in-engine footage, as it gives me a better idea of what to expect going into the game graphics wise, and according to many others in this thread, they would prefer the very same.
