Is he now old enough to be a young Adventurer? Or must a couple more years past from DA:O before Bevin becomes the Adventurer he was destined to be and to serve as an ally and possibly Companion?
DA:I in particular, think he'll get a cameo?

I gave the money to Kaitlyn so she could move to Denerim. No Bevin the adventurer for me.
Who knows whether Kaitlyn and Bevin made it through the blight or not.
I hope so.*
It would be pleasing to see Bevin again who would likely be around 18 now, though of course it would be a player-centric reacquaintance not with any party members (unless Leliana is tagging along at that point).
EDIT*
I understand Kaitlyn married Teagan with enough Silvers (epilogue).
Nice for Teagan to be out from under Isolde's whining ![]()
I remember reading that in order to not confuse players who are new to the DA universe, anyone from the earlier games who could be dead would be dead...so I think the amount of cameos will be quite limited or non-existent. As much as a nice nod & wink to us old-timers would be, they don't want to be too 'inside baseball' as it were.
Why would having cameos by people from previous games confuse newcomers? Obviously if they recognised someone, like Nathaniel did Anders, then that might arose their curiosity but it was understandable enough since both were Grey Wardens. If you had a Bevin cameo, then new people would just treat him as a passing NPC, even if he made reference to the Hero of Ferelden, but it would mean something to people who had played previous games.
If you had too many cameos by people from previous games or books it would be the people who were familiar with them who would find it odd, not newcomers. What they are trying to avoid is the situation they have had with Leliana and Wynne, where people kept moaning about how they hadn't respected their decision to kill them. However, these were major characters in the game and have subsequently been major characters in games and books. Bevin was such a minor character that I find it hard to think people would get upset if he appeared whether they helped him or not.
May be with certain characters you will only see them if you input the relevant information to the Keep. This is apparently what will happen with Morrigan's child.

This Statement was only regarding the "Default World State" for when you don't import anything and don't use the Keep.
In practice it could just be a throw-away such as meeting a young NPC called Bevin Guerrin.
There would be no shared dialogue as none of the party know Bevin but knowledgeable players would know.
Or it may be nothing.
Feybrad - ahh, perhaps, and I just extrapolated that to mean newcomers. Thanks ![]()

Bevin wouldn't get Teagan's last name as he would just be his brother-in-law at the most if I recall.

Quite right - getting mixed up there (edits...)
I hope he does get a cameo. He should be 20ish by now. And with all the dragons he could be fighting one or something. If you took his sword he'd get eaten. That'd be pretty funny, actually.
Along those lines, maybe you just find the Green Blade as loot on a charred corpse near a dragon encounter? No need for extra context or dialogue to confuse newcomers in that case...

No Connor. But before the Inquisitor reaches Redcliffe Castle he and the party runs into a intrepid rogue cutting down demons left and right with a green blade of ancient elven make. Impressed with the young man's skill the Inquisitor makes his way to the lad to exchange a few words before a walking dead tries to flank our hero with a greatsword. Before the Inquisitor can unsheathe his weapon to defend himself a dagger flies past, the breeze of the blade shearing his face and sinking into the skull of the possessed corpse.
"What is your name, boy?"
"It's Bevin."
