Lets assume theres a problem with DAK at the time i make a save and upload it to DAI.
Will i have to recreate another save after that issue is solved and start again - or - DAK will fix my save without damaging game progression?

Let me try and clear up one point. There is no "save" being generated by the Keep. It is a clearly understood piece of data between the game and the Keep that is nothing like a save game. There are no file downloads taking place to your gaming system, just an exchange of that data. Also, there is no importing of previous saves, so the only way to get the data wrong is to make the data wrong yourself.

I believe the question was whether a game in progress would recognize changes in the Keep data.

If I start a game with a Keep state where the Warden is a man, and an hour in I realize my error and change that Keep state to one where the Warden is a woman, does the game react to that, or is the information set in stone when I hit 'Start?'

The information from the Keep is only read once when you start a new game. That game/state will never look to the Keep again.
