At least with the original October 7th date, I was able to plan out my gaming budget for October and November, but now - it looks like end of October through mid-November just became a lot more expensive.. but it's going well worth it.
I have faith that the minor delay will be worth it in the long run.
But please Bioware, if you have to delay past November - please.. please don't target February-2015, or more specifically February 24th.

The end of October through mid-November doesn't have to get more expensive if you can just pay off the pre-order of DAI in October, I would think. I have already paid off DAI myself.
I don't like delays but thanks to the delay I may actually be able to play DAI on a new rig instead of my current PC. So for me, personally, it could be a win-win situation.
I do agree I wouldn't want to see another delay, especially not around the release of The Witcher 3. Sure, I have ordered both games, but I feel releasing too close to The Witcher 3 will hurt the sales of DAI considerably. I understand that some don't like The Witcher series and are more into DA but it seems that in general more gamers are waiting on The Witcher 3. I want both games to sell well and I think the only way this can happen is if DAI doesn't get yet another delay. Not to mention that I believe if there is another release date delay after this one it is going to make me fear there is something amiss at Bioware. At a certain point delays become worrisome.
So, will this game release before Half Life 3?
I assume so, although I am pretty sure that Valve could just choose to create an instant flop for someone if they came out the same day.
Basically Valve coming out and saying "You have activated my trap card", and you are sitting there thinking... This is Pokemon, there is no trap cards. Then you get hit by an instant death card.
Okay maybe I am a bit loopy.... Pay no attention to me.
Well, shoot. I hope I can change it so I get that week off instead.

Its Ok, Counter with a Bounce card, if he's playing Yugioh, Play Magic the Gathering
phh silly valve, bring traps to MTG and Pokemon
Omg ppl just chill out for a freaking second, you all look like kids who cannot wait til Christmas to open their presents. It's just a freaking month! Jeez. Nobody likes waiting, but the fact that they are taking another month to polish the game puts my mind much more at ease. Not just because they have another month to polish, but because EA is actually prioritizing having less bugs and more polish over sales and profit (unless they've become intimidated by Shadow of Mordor? lol).
all i want is a straight answer from bioware; i am happy to wait another month, but any specific reason? is it you overestimated your time for polish and have amended that to better reflect what u want from the final product, or just an unexpected set back. I just hate vague replies and press releases.
Because I feel cheated out of the 60-70 dollars I paid to pre-order the game.
How are you cheated when you get the game a month later?

PRETTIER TREES!, FLUFFIER ANIMALS, TEMPLARIER TEMPLARS.. thats the reason.
...
I'm okay with this.
An extra month? Just to polish off some bugs? Fine. It could be worse. It could have been delayed into 2015.
Good Job, Bioware. ![]()
A six week delay is not that big a deal and honestly I'm not surprised. And it's a good thing. I know ME3 was a different team, but it really needed a better polish for the SP. Here's hoping the extra time leads to an outstanding game.

Its all good Bioware. Take your time, make the best game you can!

A few weeks delay is like, forever, in gamer time.

A lot of people on ME3 are on this team... A lot
While I am happy that the delay means I get to play LotR : Shadow of Mordor as soon as it releases, I'm sad that DA:I is releasing so close to my exams. With all the projects/assignments that will be due just before exams, I may have to wait till after my exams to fully enjoy the game which means waiting an extra month
I am also a little worried about the delay this close to launch. That usually means bad news. Although, since it's just 6 weeks, it's somewhat understandable. Hope it turns out better because of the extra time. Because now, people will be a little extra pissed for each bug/glitch/framerate drop they find when playing.

i think me3 could have benefited with another 6 months to implement the ending better, im happy with delays if it serves the purpose of bettering the final product

Ahh that explains why polish and bug fixing is critical then.
