More time for polish and shipping a finished product of quality is preferred to shipping it out unfinished.

I have no problem with the delay.

I jokingly said to myself when I saw the link on the facebook page "They're going to delay the game" and they did.

I'm fine with it really is to polish it up more, and not some massive bug hit that will take awhile to fix.  It's just a delay at 1 1/2 months is always a little worrying

Fine with me. It costs money to push deadlines back. If EA is throwing more money at it, then they feel confident that whatever they are getting by spending more time will produce even more sales.

I think they want this to be a prestige product for Bioware that rebuilds the division's reputation. A ton of polish and minimal bugs would do that.

But in all seriousness I completely understand if bioware needs to take more time.

 

Take as long as you need bioware, I'll just be over here in the corner, twitching and constantly searching google for the slightest crumb of new DA:I news.

This actually worries me as far as how the final game will turn out.
 
I know it's only a month, but considering the game was already delayed by a year?

The year long push was to expand the scope of the game and it added a lot more. This one is just about taking the content that we have and polishing it a lot.

This makes me wonder just how bad the game would have been if it released last fall.

It'd have been a much smaller game (and in some ways different as a result) for sure, but yes I think the game's quality would have suffered if we had released last year. I was super excited about the extra year. I like this one too (of course I'll say that though, right? ) because an extra month of polish still goes a long ways.
