It's disappointing that the game's been delayed, sure, but I suppose it's for the best. I'm still looking forward to it, no cancelled pre-orders here. Gonna be a long month of October though, as I decided not to buy any of the other games releasing then so I could afford DA:I and AC: Unity (which is the end of October, I believe).

If any of you have played the other game on the Frostbite 3 engine, then you would all be happy for the delay if it results in fewer bugs. the other game being battlefail 4. 8 months since release and its still FUBAR, seriously the bugs are so rampant in that game i only end up hating life after every time i turn it on. they keep "attempting" fixes and patches but each download fixes 1-2 things and makes 4-6 more, and reverts old patches back to being problems again. so BIOWARE, please take ALL the time you need, to fix any problems im sure are a result or in some way contributed by DICE's f-up of an engine. Sure it LOOKS absolutely beautiful, but it it is a cancer, wish you the best of luck hope you all can do it, really looking forward to this title, frostbite aside....

I was already going to be doing that on Oct. 7th. Me doing that now on Nov. 18th changes not a thing.

 

Just means the photo I take of my copy in-hand at midnight and posted immediately to Facebook and Twitter will happen a little over a month later than initially forseen.

This autumn is quite packed with plenty of games to keep me busy, so I don't mind the delay. And since the lastest EA games have had terrible launches (BF4...), their willingness to delay DA:I (and BF: Hardline) might indicate they want to do better.

Look on the bright side they will have more time to polish the game before launch, but I was hoping they'll release more information or trailer to ease our pain from waiting.

Before the delay announcement we had, what, only 80 odd days to release? I was beginning to get excited. I'm almost tempted to ask if someone would start a countdown to how long we have before we once again reach the point where we have 80 days left until release.

Christmas is closer to the release date too hmmm, im sure that had nothing to do with it. And damn I was so excited for october. I cannot deal with waiting anymore ugh.

Thank you! I already had Destiny, Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity Beta,  and Shadows of Mordor to deal with, an extra month is greatly appreciated. I figure by the time this comes out I should be ready to tackle it and Far Cry 4.

Doesn't bother me at all. My family has a tradition of "mid-October onward is 'no buying potential Christmas gifts for yourself' period", so I wouldn't get it until December 25 anyways.

Man, I'm just envious of all you guys and gals that have multiple platforms and games to be playing in the Fall. That sounds badass. I'll just be... working.... and drinking beer to drown my sorrows until November. Far Cry 4 should be great, though, if it manages to improve on Far Cry 3.

Personally, I'm not all that upset, because now it's a week out from Thanksgiving, which means I'll have something to do then (I go to college pretty far away from my family, so I just end up staying there for the short break, but most people don't.)
