I'm okay with this. It just means I get an extra month to work on my backlog before getting lost in Thedas and promptly forgetting any other game exists.

Oh well, not so bad. By this point I should be completing most of my work for the fall term rather than dead in the middle of term I guess.

Let me ask. Why the delay? Is it just polishing and such? Or was there some issue that came up?

Ugh.  Bad day made worse.

But, if it means a bug free game, so be it.  Only real issue is that it's now being released during the busiest time of the work year for me. (No mini vacation now.) Then again, I've been strongly considering buying a current gen console and maybe this gives me some extra time to save.  (And to have a Sheldon moment of PS4 or X-Box One?  I CAN'T DECIDE!!)  Annnnyway....

Gotta find some silver linings here.

Last time I went around get fan autographs, it was a really good ice breaker since a lot of people were afraid to talk to me otherwise... Then there was the time I signed a guys chest, don't worry Mark Meer did it later as well.

I'm a bit bummed because but an extra month of polish and the like can only do good. I'll be expecting the game to be extra shiny now though!

Well, after looking at my calendar I am really depressed by this. 

 

I don't know what'll be harder: Waiting the extra 6 weeks for it to arrive with nothing to do or waiting the weeks after it arrives but being unable to play it yet see it everyday in my room.

Initial reaction was mostly: "Nooooooooooooo."

Now: "I've waited for bioshock infinite..I can wait for this, and it will be for the best to ensure a quality game for players."

As long as there's gameplay trailers, demos, news, and what ever else, for us to feed off of in the meanwhile.

I guess I see another positive out of this by me getting more time with Destiny. Pretty sure I would've thrown that game to the side when DAI came out. Destiny --> Dragon Age ---> Witcher 3

Going to be some fun months ahead. Star Citizen next year? Pillars of Eternity and I still need to get Divinity Original Sin.

Sort of ok with this even as DAI is the game I am wanting most
It sort of is a good thing as the get even more time polishing and as this was released in the same week as
Alien Isolation an Shadows of Mordor wich I have both preordered with DAI
It gives me more time to play those first and the get even more hyped up for my DAI to come out lol

Tho this next gen is shaping up to be the generation of the delayed games , if all the delayed games get better for it I am ok with that

Exactly. Pop a graphics upgrade in before the game ships, then add more ram and storage when Black Friday rolls around~ So psyched!

I want to thank the devs that have come by and talked to us.  You didn't have to brave some of this anger, but I really appreciate it.   For one, I just think that too many people are hot, crabby and anxious.  Not to mention being more than a bit prone to hyperbole. 
 
I'm glad I didn't pre-order the Inquisitor Edition yet, but otherwise this doesn't bother me all that much.  Last time the game was delayed, we got broader areas, more romances, a romance no longer race-gated, and more races to play.  Another 5 weeks to clean it up sounds like a great idea.
 
For my experience, most of the problem with DA2 was simply that it didn't get the time it needed.  MotA and Legacy show glimpses of what the game could have been, but that was rushed out the door.  While this game has had a lot more development time, I'm perfectly happy to wait until November.  If that means I don't have to do things such as uninstall a patch to get two different DLCs to work (glares at Legacy and Exiled Prince,) then I'm content.   
 
However, I still have a request for you guys to put in the Ghost Pants bug for Cole in some sort of easter egg or DLC.  This I've got to see.  

Ya soo agree with this but still I had so hoped to play it in October ... Oh well , it's just 6 weeks I think I can survive this while playing Horizon2, Alien Isolation and Shadows of Mordor ...I hope ;P
