Stil not released the same time in EU as North America. I do not care when the game is released i just want a world wide release on the same day.

Is anyone else having issues with dragonage.com? With Firefox and Chrome the actual update shows no text (not on computer nor on tablet) and on Internet Explorer the entire news sections shows no articles. Not to mention on tablet the site displays rather badly with the top and bottom bar taking up a whole lot of space and the menu buttons are only visible for 80 or so percent.

I'm actually really okay with the delay. But too much hype was made for October the 7^th and while I understand the whole "We want to produce the best game" concept, you honestly kinda shouldn't have marketed the game to be released on October that much, it's gonna disappoint numerous fans (maybe), and 5 weeks is a lot of time.

Add to that from my personal view, I'm incredibly sad because that puts out the game only a few weeks before my first term finals in uni and that's just awful.

 I do sincerely hope the game is nothing short of perfect now. Polished, optimized and bug-free.

The year long push was to expand the scope of the game and it added a lot more. This one is just about taking the content that we have and polishing it a lot.



It'd have been a much smaller game (and in some ways different as a result) for sure, but yes I think the game's quality would have suffered if we had released last year. I was super excited about the extra year. I like this one too (of course I'll say that though, right? ) because an extra month of polish still goes a long ways.

I don't know why, but somehow this post makes me feel a lot better, even though I was thinking just about the same thing. I'd hug you Allan if it weren't completely inappropriate and we weren't separated by several thousand miles.

Do not truly mind if helps the overall experience, but this delay may help kill the holidays for many families of gamers.

I'm willing to bet the story is done, and has been for awhile.  They went into alpha claiming it was content complete.  The delay is likely due to technical polishing.

Yes... but look on the bright side. The New Harvest Moon was scheduled to come out within a week of Oct 7, so now you'll have more time to care for your farm before you abandon it .

Ugh I wouldn't have a problem with this if Kingdom Hearts 2.5 didn't come out December 2nd, that gives me less than 2 weeks to get my fill of Inquisition before that is released.

If people are okay with delays, does that mean they would be ok pushing the game back another year?  I mean, another year of development means another year of polish, right, right?  Seriously, DAI is going to be coming out towards the holidy rush period and unfortunately for it, I doubt it'll be one of the season's best sellers.  I feel the game will suffer for it, but whatever.  At this point, I'll just wait for a GOTY edition becausey hey, we've waited this long, what's another year of waiting right?
