"Polishing it".
Yes, like how Watch Dogs was delayed because of polishing.
We will see. My money says they just stop working on it and just lie.

More time to play Ultimax then before moving on to this distraction until the eventual Persona 5 release, I suppose.
I'm gonna say that this delay might be for the best with previous trackrecords of BioWare releases notwithstanding.
if they are getting rushed on a project like this then I have even graver concerns for the game, namely its story content being rushed
Well, too bad.
Now it's a good time to announce a demo... or something... pretty please?
I Know, Seriously they need to stick to their Guns, quit trying to make the Game shiny, if you Polish something to much, you end up damaging it.
That is actually an interesting concept. While this is certainly true of physical objects, not so much with software. The concept of polish is to improve quality. Too much doesn't really exist as you will almost never reach 100% in this area. "Damaging" it is possible, but that usually manifests as very obvious bugs.
NOOOOooooooooooo... not happy news at all.
Well, with extra polish at least the game won't feel like it was made by Obsidian, hahaha.
Origins needs to be updated. Don't want to be charged in October for a November game. ![]()
The only problem i have with it, is that i'll be busy the first 15 days or December, and something more than a week before that, which means i can't play it at 21 November, i have to wait about another month.
Great >.>
If people are okay with delays, does that mean they would be ok pushing the game back another year? I mean, another year of development means another year of polish, right, right? Seriously, DAI is going to be coming out towards the holidy rush period and unfortunately for it, I doubt it'll be one of the season's best sellers. I feel the game will suffer for it, but whatever. At this point, I'll just wait for a GOTY edition becausey hey, we've waited this long, what's another year of waiting right?
Why do you care how well the game may or may not sell? I don't think that concerns us as customers. What does concern us is the overall quality, which will undoubtedly improve thanks to the delay.

They wouldn't delay if it was avoidable. No developer likes to delay a release date after already settling for one because it costs money. A publisher wouldn't delay either unless absolutely necessary.
Bioware you do what you have to and take your time... but since you delayed it again we want some good new information on the game*shakes fist*
Aahahahahah.
I booked my PTO this morning to fit with the now obsolete release date. Oh well. No biggies, I can't really push them back that far anyway.
Given that it's only a month delay, it has nothing to do with story content. It's probably a bunch of bug fixes or working on the multiplayer.
still not inspiring confidence
Don't mind it, personally. October was very crowded anyway. Will have enough to play to tie me over. Now it'll be the last big game for the year, together with Far Cry 4. And the release is closer to Thanksgiving (and Christmas). Might help with sales a bit. And a little extra time for polish is always good.
Not the end of the world. There is probably a good reason for it.
I literally just got time off approved for October 8th to play....
I guess it didn't go gold yet, so they got about a month to get ready for that then.
and now I'm suddenly looking more forward to AC Unity than Dragon Age: Inquisition tbh.
Yeah, I've already cancelled DAI preorder in favor of AC Unity preorder. And with all the collector's stuff they have for it, I probably won't have much money left for DAI. Will wait for it to reach the bargain bin now.
That's good, now you can cancel the DLC timed exclusivity on XBOX!
Perfect!
Damn right. They should do that.
And so, on my Birthday of all days, I get this special surprise gift from Bioware.

All kidding aside, this doesn't bother me too much, as I'm sure you'll be able to spend a lot of quality time on polish and bug fixes. Just don't delay it any longer. ![]()
p.s. You should totally get me a DA: Keep beta invite to make up for it! ![]()
