For the first time ever I put a Striker on my TSent yesterday, with stability mod and extended clip. I used AP rounds, took hard cover and proceeded to kill Rippaz in a way that made me chuckle for extended periods of time. Then I put it on my TSol, and almost had to go and have a lie down in a darkened room afterwards. That much fun should probably be illegal. ![]()

Replace Tsol with Turian and get rid of the "almost" and that is basically a summary of my entire ME3 MP experience.
Striker Turian Soldier against phantoms is hilarious good fun too.

Striker doesn't do piercing, so AP rounds will only give you some additional damage, and for that I think warps are better, especially on the sentinel. Would go with something triggerable myself, tho.

Thanks for clarifying that as I wasn't sure. I'm a lot more familiar with the TSent than I am with the Striker, and was really just putting his stability capabilities to the test. I never even think of putting Warp Ammo on him normally, as I use Warp much less than Chain Overload (+ Disruptor or Incendiary, depending on the team, with Lancer or Arc Pistol), but I knew I wouldn't be spamming Overload as much with the Striker because of the ramp-up. The AP ammo was an auto-pilot choice because I live in fear of Guardians when I don't have powers or piercing which will deal with them - turns out I rolled Reapers anyway so it didn't matter.
I had Cryo on the TSol, which I forgot to mention because I was so overcome with joy. ![]()

Homing grenades + Rocket armed turret = No cool down required.
Bring along a crusader and a lancer
Keep a good distance away from your enemies
And your enemies shall meet their maker

Saboteur engineer needs to be played with team mates. I don't think he is good enough to solo gold or platinum
quite the contrary, there are 14 plat solos in the Hall of Fame with the Turian Saboteur, with at least one completion for each faction.

I've been playing the 6/6/6/6/0 Turian Saboteur on Gold, with the Sabre.
I'm still not convinced that 6 ranks of Sentry Turret does anything useful. Sure, I've seen it get some kills, but mostly trash kills or mop-ups of enemies with a sliver of health.
Also the Sabre + Turian combination is so damn good that it probably doesn't matter what build you use.
Might have to try Saboteur with, I dunno, the Phaeston or something less uber than the Sabre. Then the Sentry Turret will get more kills, amirite?

Firstly, I heartily endorse this product and/or service ![]()
Secondly, the Turret will do better than you describe, but you have to use it consistently and aggressively. Try tossing it behind (or next to) a spawn 8or group of mobs), shooting, give a dose of Sabotage (specced for Tech Vulnerability), and move on. Mine is specced for max shields/damage + AP ammo + rockets and it will fairly reliably kill a Gold Brute by itself - as in "2150 kill" kind of result. It has a ridiculously short cooldown, even with the Saber equipped, so you can toss a fresh one at anything you want to have distracted and damaged.
Unlike the Geth Turret, which you generally want between you and the enemy, you want to place the Sentry Turret either behind or to the side of the enemy.

Nice. My max-powers TSab has a similar pet but flamer rather than rockets.
You must have solid placement skills. I've used rockets before only to watch it try to constantly perform renovations on all surrounding structures. Without shock in rank 4, I figure flamer serves a comparable role...to get the mooks all aflutter and out from cover.

I don't think my placement skills are anything special, but if it's not right then you can toss another a couple seconds later. You do have to put the Turret where it has line of sight on a target, and it will generally prioritize the closest enemy in that case. If the Turret is shooting walls then it clearly needs to be repositioned. one can also think of it like a grenade. If you'd toss in a frag or cluster nade with a different kit, toss in the Turret instead.
The Flamer seems to be not that effective on the TSab's Turret, mainly because he has no way to detonate the primer (compare the GE) and the Flamer seems not to detonate. Someone who knows more about the subtleties of power interplay can say definitively whether the Flamer benefits from Tech Vulnerability.

I dig it. And does your TSab's rocket pet still prod/goad the mooks out from hard cover fairly promptly?

it seems to start firing within a second of landing, and it certainly gets the attention of anything humanoid.

I'll keep at it, but my AR Rail Amps are getting shockingly low, so I may have to switch to Talon or CSMG or Wraith or some other mid-range not-AR weapon.

My TSent is a goldish colour, that blends very nice with the tech armour. He rocks the arc pistol, saber or venom most the time. But will also take the wrait, ppr, and lancer+acolyte. He is my golden boy, and we are best bro`s.
My Tsol spends alot of time at home, prob keeping his blue armour well calibrated. He does join battle every now and then, when he does, he raiders all the things like a boss!
The ghost is my guilty pleasure. He uses a ppr 99% of the time now a days. And I humm "the imperial march" when i run around and lazor all the things.
Still need to L2P the Sabo, got to get around to that some day.
Me and the cabal, we don`t really get along, not my kind of grill. Maybe i just need to get to know her better.

TBH I use the turret more as an aggro dump and a get that rocket trooper out of cover tool than as an outright offensive, because in my build sabotage plus homing grenades combined with sick garrus style turiansnipes kills everything about 5x faster than max rank turianturret, while the turret picks off stragglers and distracts a geth or phantom or two.
this is exactly how I use it on both Sentry Turret characters. Not as a source of damage in itself, because it simply doesn't do much compared to weapons or other powers, but a means to increase exposure time doing damage by other means. If those two mooks are being staggered and stunned by the turret, they aren't killing me while I rekt all their buddies, so I needn't seek cover spots as often.

I know I need to L2Cabal. Just wrapped up 200 waves with her, and wave #200 was only slightly more competent than wave #2. I resigned to being a flying teammate revival bandit and basic mook-masher...which is still good fun.
Still not as bad as my need to L2Havoc. I have about 150 waves with him...150 woefully awkward & unimpressive waves.
In the spirit of the thread, I truly wish I could say these 2 were my faves -- in concept, I'm a fan.

I'm 99% sure that the only things on sentry turret that benefit from sabotage's tech vulnerability are the shock pulse from rank four and any fire explosions generated by the flamethrower priming them (the flamethrower's damage does not benefit, only the damage of combos it causes do).

This weekend I will have real internet that probably works, so I can finally play with other people's turians.
Please, if you are on PC, add TheTechnoTurian and I would like to invite you to um...
Condor...
I know Condor is awful but I need to experience foursomes with turians on Condor versus the rippas.
If you are already on my friendslist pls contact me or post if interested, or message me if you see me ingame on origin.
