Watched Fleet and Flotilla again and was beset by Palaven fever.  I did a bad thing and cheated on Quarksman with Raider Turian Soldier, in a lobby with two other fat Tsents and a Ghost. Not having a dodge was utterly terrifying at first and I died a lot, but he was  very gentle and forgiving, and it ended up being a pretty Good experience nonetheless.

 

I am bad and I should feel bad.

While I wasn't there to witness it, and I do know humour when I see it, I have to say I'd be surprised if the 20 Headshot medal hadn't already popped up around the start of wave 2.   Back atcha! 

 

OT: I think the TSent is the character who has been the first to do 200 waves on at least 3 accounts. He is temporarily retired now until I hear of TTT descending to scrub level for some Turian Fatness on PS3.

Well there was a gold weapon and HS medal, and the challenge went from 30% to 100%, so the tooth gun did something  

 

Still wouldn't put it on anything but an infiltrator, tho. Probably not even a turian

I think it's time this thread returns to the front page, since it is the greatest thread on the internet and all, and maybe some other people can tell me about their turians.

What's the point of dodging when everything dies because marksman + prox mine and nothing can kill you because Tech Armor + overload?!!

There is no need to dodge, just run forward around the map and kill everything that stands on your way. Turians do not retreat, they hold the line. Well, sometimes, you might take a casual side step from charging banshees or preatorians.

You must learn to embrace the Fatness, and be confident in the knowledge that you can kill (almost) everything before it gets close enough to exploit your only significant weakness. Keep your wits about you when Praetorians and Banshees are lurching around, but otherwise it really is just about finding a weapon which suits you, because the Turian will not be the limiting factor when it comes to weapon choice. In the case of the TSol in particular, he is the weapon choice. I prefer the Sentinel, with Lancer, Phaeston, Arc Pistol or Mattock as personal favourites, or sometimes a scoped Locust for a real laugh to just tear through mooks.

Turians don't do rolls, only tactical retreats and flanking maneuvers. You ever seen a real soldier roll in the mud boi? And sure, them fancy ducks at the armiger legion might have jetpacks but a real turian doesn't dodge because he doesn't need to.

Claymore TSol.

 

Although you can dodge with the Quarian Soldier which makes it a desirable kit, the Claymore TSol just feels better. I'm also a big Fan of 5/6/6/6/3 TSent + Arc Pistol.

 

The Turian Saboteur Engineer needs more love too.

So here's a turianstory for you, but it's a sad turianstory.

 

I decided to try my hand with the Blakwatch solos and the first one is the glorious fat  TSent  who I played with before with much pleasure vs geth on Glacier. This was also vs geth but on White. I had the arc pistol and I was good with it, I only missed like 2/3rds of my shots which is a big improvement over my normal performance. Anyway, I had good luck and got to wave 10 and got devices, which are generally ok on White. The devices were that big type, you know, like boxes you can pretty much sit in when you do them. Sadly there was a phantom sitting in the 3rd device. I took my cobra out but the phantom was quicker and stabbed me.

 

I cried. It was supposed to be my first ever platinum solo completed on my very first attempt.

2. My least favorite is the Saboteur. I just can't feel it with him.
