I decided today that I still like Turians. Thought this was the right place to let everyone know.

I still like Turians too.  Probably no one has noticed though.

So I got out of my comfort zone of always using Geth and decided to use the Turian Soldier w/ Mattock. Ooh boy, he turned dat thing into a Cerberus Harrier X. Unforunately I was in a shitstain lobby where 20fps was a rarity so I hardly got to experience his chubby prowess. Nonetheless Banshees dropped like flies when their barriers were down so he's gud in my book.

 

Heh, I cladded him in gold and named him Smough.

I needed some Cabal Vanguard waves to finish whatever Challenge she's in.

Number of Phantoms decapitated by heavy melee: 3.

 

I like the Cabal because she is a Vanguard who can be played off-host without feeling totally gimped. Also I like decapitating Phantoms.

maybe it's just my Great Location and preternaturally high pings but every time I poison strike or dodge with her I end up rubberbanding all over the map unless I'm host. I actually find her even more gimped than most other guards off-host, which is unfortunate because none of the other guards are turians

I rubberband all over the map when I'm using the Cabal too It basically makes the class useless. Poison strike doesn't hit **** when I'm playing because of the delay between when I use the power, and when the connection registers I've used the power XD The vanguard class isn't exactly lag friendly in general though, so it isn't one I use.

Yeah same with me... apart from the last bit lol. I just don't play vanguards XD. Try QFI+Lancer, it's 100% lag friendly awesomeness.

I can thankfully play Cabal without rubberbanding and such issues (unless host is a potato), so for me she and sentinel are tied and I can't decide which one is my favourite.

I also play fat turricane soldier off host, because I'm weird like that

 Cabal has come back around into the rotation for me...........  god, I love using the pirahna w incid ammo on her..... it's just the perfect match.  also my new favorite discovery ...the turian soldier w scorpion and incid ammo is just....beautiful man.   the definition of love is a fully automatic scorpion.

I prefer chakram launcher over scorpion. With marksman you're a THE stunlock machine.

OT - I have tried a number of other characters and keep coming back to my TSent. I've now played him enough that he is absolutely my 'go-to' guy for guaranteed survivability (mostly) in gold games.
