Turians are good and all, and they make great sidekicks. It's always good to have someone around that can calibrate my gun.

Just wanted to say though, N7 Humans like Fury and Slayer an crew are far sexier n cooler than the Turians.

-Can they make everyone around them explode while just wearing a leather bikini?

-Can they teleport thru walls while super punching a mook and looking uber cool?

-Do they have a pimp leather jacket or sword?

-Grenades? Talk to DemoGirl

-Real power armor with a missile launcher?

 

Just wanted to share the love.

Poor saboteur....not many fans. Can't say I am surprised though.

I love the Sabotuer. He is even melee spec'd for when peeps want to get in his face. Nothing like TV, Crusader to face and a power punch to finish it off.

Genophage was implemented only to prevent possible future rebelions.

 

Turians defeated you in fare firefight, without usage of women and kids as a decoys. They were able to exterminate the krogan race per se. Deal with it.

Genophage was implemented because Krogans are that badass, and without it they would headbutt the galaxy into submission.

 

Sure, Turians are great with guns and have lots of em, but when the smoke clears and your out of ammo, the Krogan bloodied and shot a thousand times will still laugh and then headbutt you for good measure. Then while dazed on the ground he will say "That aint a gun, this is a gun" and end you with his Claymore.

 

Just saying, lucky for you the Genophage.

^ Who do you think taught Garrus to calibrate? The main reason Garrus can dodge, even though he resembles an OG turian is because the Saboteur army calibrated him via imp(l)ants from their jet pack project. 

It's rare to see Garrus do a side roll, but does that make him badass?

I love them all but the Ghost, which is grossly boring. My favorite combinaisons are:

- Havoc with Claymore and Venom.

- Cabal with Talon, Arc Pistol, Claymore and Venom.

- Tsent with Arc Pistol, Wraith, Claymore, Executioner and Graal. 

- Tsol with Raider, Claymore, Hurricane, BPP, Talon and Piranha.

- Saboteur with Venom, Claymore, Talon, Executioner and Arc Pistol.

Turian Sentinel. He's the only Sentinel to fit the original (Mass Effect 1 and 2) model of a Sentinel; i.e., someone with both Overload and Warp.

 

2.) Which Turian is your least favorite, or if there is none, the turian you use the least?

 

Turian Saboteur. Yes, I know there are ways to make him effective, but I always feel like I'm fighting the game to make that happen, when I could just use a class that's actually effective to begin with.

 

I also don't use the Turian Cabal Vanguard often, because I rarely host, and like all vanguards she's iffy off-host. I do like her, though!

 

3.) Which weapons do you like to equip on your turians?

 

Lately I've been using the Lancer on the Turian Sentinel and the Typhoon on the Turian Soldier.

 

Also when I play the Turian Ghost Infiltrator (and I don't care that he's "OP", he's also AWESOME), I use the Sabre because it feels and sounds MEATY when you shoot it.

- Tsent hands down favorite turian, second favorite probably cabal.
- TGI easily is my least favorite, Just can't have much fun with him aside from making use of an otherwise underwhelming AR(I have gi for that).

Turians I like using are the Sentinel, Soldier, and the Saboteur.

 

I don't dislike any of them, but lately the Ghost is the one I've used the least.  He can be boring sometimes.  

 

Like to use the Typhoon, Tempest, and Phaeston on the Soldier.  Lancer on the Sentinel.  Lancer or Bloodpack Punisher on the Saboteur.

And based on responses so far (being a turbonerd I made a tally) the no-dodge Turians and especially the Sentinel are still far and away the most popular turians.

Favorite turian would have to be the Tsol. Tsent a very very close second.

Least favorite would have to be the Havoc, I just don't get how to play him.

 

My Tsol uses too many guns to mention. Top picks would have to be Saber, Raider, Eagle and when I'm feeling cheesy or just want to burn SMG amps and stabilizers- Hurrdurricane.

My Tsent's arsenal is also quite large- Saber, Wraith, Indra, Paladin, Talon and occasionally PPR.

Ghost- Harrier. Although I don't ever play with this guy, too boring for my taste. Iirc I have less than 5 extractions with him.

Cabal- Raider, Talon or Graal when on host.

Sabby and Havoc- Arc pistol.

BSN listing havoc as their favorite would never happen. No one on BSN would stoop low enough to list a stimpack (read noobpack) using turian as their favorite.  (and if they do pick a stimpack turian, ghost is simply better)

 

On a serious note though, havoc not getting enough votes surprises me too. He's probably the best turian for an in-your-face style of gameplay (well, next to the cabal).

Havoc is awesome. Too bad he's as host demanding as vanguards, so I rarely play him these days...
