Say what you will about the Turian God Incarnate but he is what really got me to having Turians as my favorite race..once I figured out how to spec him and use him optimally...never looked back...he became my second favorite character after the slash-less Slayer

I almost never spec into concussive shot.  I find that if I try and spec into two abilities for a weapons class that I end up not using one or the other to proper effect thus I usually spec into full fitness and mine.  The rare time I do spec into con shot I do not spec into mine.

I usually skip Proxy Mine and max Concussive Shot on the TSol.  The cooldown for Proxy Mine is so long that any extra damage you're getting is pretty much offset by the damage you lose by being locked out of Marksman for that time.  Concussive Shot has a very low cooldown and provides a quick stagger power, which is more useful in my opinion.

On my TSol build, I only go 5 in PM leaving 3 ranks for CS. I like the fast stagger it affords for mooks.

I think like four of the Turians. 

 

Turian Cabal - Harrier, Pirahna, Raider or Reeger

Turian Marksman - Hurricane or Raider (+ sometimes Eagle as secondary)

Turian Sentinel - Wraith or Lancer

Turian Ghost Typhoon, PPR or Harrier + Hurricane

 

The Havoc is quite powerful but its signature ability, while fun, is quite underwhelming. I rarely play the Havoc, atm mine is set up as weapons platform skipping Havoc strike, which is stronger and much more reliable off host, but somewhat boring.

 

I have almost never played the Saboteur, I don't really see the point of the kit, one of the worst in the game.

I skip cs and go full prox mine on the turian soldier, would rather take debuff than cs's mook staggering, stagger doesn't really help me kill things faster and I don't use it as a defensive tool either because of turianjugg shields. The only time I take CS is if I do cryo turian with falcon, venom or something similar.

CS is even more pointless than PM. You still don't use MM if you use conc. shot while death is the best stagger.
It's better to have something (debuffed spawn once in a wave if you are good at control, flank reminder, swarmer killer) than nothing (useless projectile stagger power which still doesn't have a synergy with mm).
