I don't think any of the bisexual character will rank lower than the homosexual ones.
Maybe Sera above Iron Bull, but that's about it.

Dorian and Sera are two of the most conventionally attractive LIs. I absolutely believe a decent amount of straight women and men will make an opposite gender character to romance them. Bioware has said before that their numbers for same sex content are higher than they assume actual gay players exist. It's not really news that some straight people like seeing this kind of thing.
Cassandra is 1000x more conventionally attractive than Sera. I mean, look at this avatar of mine. There is just no comparison.
Just like it didn't stop so many dudes from playing FemSheps to romance Traynor, I doubt homosexuality is going to stop the many female players here from having a male quizitor playthrough to romance Hotty McHot Mage. Dorian is extremely attractive by conventional standards, whereas Iron Bull is naturally a niche market given his qunari-ness. I know for myself that I'm more likely to play a male Inquisitor that romances Dorian than playing a female quizitor romancing IB.
Honestly, I don't think there were really that many players who rolled a character of a certain sex just to romance a LI that would've otherwise been unavailable to them. I know I didn't.
1- Josephine
2- Cullen
3- Cassandra
4- Dorian
5- ?
6- Sera
7- Iron Bull
8- ?
Tho I do hope Josie isn't the most popular, I want her to be as special as possible ;-;
My favorites are Solas, Iron Bull, Sera, and Vivienne ![]()

Cullen is far more "conventionally attractive" than Dorian, of that I'm certain.
I'd also say that Vivienne, Josephine and Cassandra are, but that may just be personal preference.
I'd even say Iron Bull is more attractive, but that is definitely personal preference...

Have you seen how wildly fanatic Dorian's fan thread is? I doubt every single one of those posters is gay, and that those that are straight women are simply going to play female Inquisitors and never romance Dorian. Samantha Traynor's fan thread is still very popular these days, mostly occupied by dudes. You may not be into it, but alot of straight people are into same-sex content. Just go to any fanfiction/fanart website lol.
I'd say the following, based on my Expectation that more Availabilty will mean more Popularity and straight Romances tend to fare better than homosexual ones, just like female Romances tend to fare better than male Romances.
1. Josephine
2. Cullen
3. Vivienne (if available and bisexual - swap with Cassandra if she's straight, move her down one Spot, regardless of her Position, if she's racegated.)
4. Cassandra
5. Sera
6. Blackwall (if available.)
7. Varric (if available to more than one race/gender combo. If only to, say, female Dwarves, then he takes last Spot.)
8. Solas. (if available.)
9. Dorian / Iron Bull.
I think he meant pushy.
Oh yes, that's what I meant. Wrong choice of words.
I'm not sure who will be the most popular, but Cullen's my vote for the most gushed over.
Remember, again, that more people romanced Leliana with a female character than played a rogue when they didn't have to. It's not even that people are forced to switch genders, although some will over not romancing the character at all. Some people just enjoy same sex content even if they're not gay themselves. Like someone mentioned, there's a huge fan fiction market for it.

you're right. I'm a woman and I'm totally into gay relationships. They're special to me, because there are only few games that include them. It's one of the main reasons why I love Bioware games so much...okay, besides the great story, the characters, the good/evil choices, the fantasy setting, the character creator, the game mechanics and so on.... ; D
Here is my vote:
Female LI's:
1. Cassandra
2. Josephine
3. Sera
4. Vivienne
Male LI's
1. Cullen
2. Dorian
3. Iron Bull
4. Solas
Or
1. Cullen
2. Varric
3. Dorian
4. Iron Bull
If Leliana and Morrigan were romancable, they'd likely outnumber the rest of the female LI's in popularity by 4:1.

Again, you're overestimating the numbers. We dedicated posters in this forum represent only the tiniest fraction of those who will actually play the game.

Same here. I know my sister and a bunch of my straight girlfriends love gay stuff, for both the emotional content, as well as the sexiness of it lol. I know my first playthrough will be a female Inquisitor, and while I don't know who I'll romance (probably Cullen), I have a good feeling my second playthrough will be a male quizzy who will romance Dorian because he is just so hottt and seeing him with my male Quizitor will be great

I think you're overestimating the number of people who will actually romance Iron Bull.

I do think this Popularity of Leliana does stem from various Reasons.
1. She is a Female.
2. She is nicer and less complicated than Morrigan.
3. It was very easy to trigger her Romance.
4. Girl on Girl is hot.
The last of which is the Reason while straight dudes found appeal in the Romance.
I think, Sera will be boosted by the same Attitude.
Disclaimer: I do not say, that is a great Thing.

It definitely matters that she is female. The female romances are always chosen more. If I remember right, Miranda got something like 40%+ of the romance pie and Tali around 25% in ME2 with the highest a male got being something like 5%. That's considering 13%, I believe, romanced nobody. Although, I also romanced nobody in ME2, since they didn't have m/m options. But anyway, the male options aren't really competition for the female options, as far as I can tell. Unless DA has like 3-4 times as many women and gay men than ME, I don't see them really hitting anywhere near the same numbers.
As a gay person, though, I'm happy straight people like the same sex content. It just creates more of a market for them to include it.
When making this list I considered that majority of people who play this game usually only play it once, or strongly stick to an archetype they're used to playing, most notably pick a character the reflects themselves given the high amount of people who pick human on their first run.Secondly, adviser romances are still new-ish, and not seen in equal light given the way ME treated them to the average fan. That being said, I think it's going to be something like this for the first few months:
Ladies
1) Cass
2) Viv (if LI)
3) Sera
4) Josephine
Gents
1) Varric (if LI)
2) Dorian
3) Blackwall (If LI)
4) Cullen
5) Solas (If LI)
6) Iron Bull
Give it a year and people become the more wiser that the advisers are just as good as the companions, and we learn more about the characters themselves I think it will change to this:
Ladies:
1) Josephine
2) Cass
3) Sera
4) Vivi
Gents
1) Cullen
2) Dorian
3) Varric (if LI)
4) Solas (If LI)
5) Iron Bull
6) Blackwall ( If LI)
Has Blackwall been ruled out as LI? If I had to guess, probably Cass and Cullen, but who knows.
I wonder if BW will only be recording the first playthrough for each unique user?
It seems like their stats discount subsequent playthroughs.
Has Blackwall been ruled out as LI?
No, most people just assume he won't be.

Well, I can say that I played very recently for the first time a gay male Warden and a gay male Hawke and I found the experience far more enjoyable than playing a straight male Shepard. Not sure though how much influence could have other factors, like VA, etc. Don't think I'm going to roll a straight version of both of them to make a more appropiate comparison, unfortunately ![]()
edit: more on topic, I think the top 3 it's going to be Josephine, Cassandra and Cullen.
No, most people just assume he won't be.
Lord knows why! He's my preferred romance, and I know LOTS of older women who are hoping for him. Surely he should have a better chance than a hairless 40-something elf?

You have 3 out of 4 already, leave something for the rest ![]()

Awwwwww. I like Solas a lot and would love if he got an LI slot, but Blackwall wouldn't bother me as an LI. I'm not sure why he's been ruled out quite as summarily as he has been by most people, it isn't exactly warranted. Really, all four of the remaining are in similar standing from what we know.

No one wants to romance the daddy happy! ![]()
