Female LIs
Josephine
Cassandra
Vivienne
Sera
Male LIs
Cullen
Dorian
Iron Bull
Solas
or
Cullen
Blackwall
Dorian
Iron Bull
or
Cullen
Dorian
Iron Bull
Varric (if he is only for Dwarves)
I could be way wrong about all of the Male LI's because its more difficult to factor in the fact that the Iron Bull and the unannounced LI will (most likely) will both be romanceable by both genders.

What do you mean? Right now I have only one LI I'm mildly interested in. The other one I truly wanted is gender-gated. Blackwall is the only one left I genuinely want.
EDIT: I forgot about my own signature..................
Well in my defense the women are only there because I do like to eventually romance women, but I prefer dudes
Yes, it was because of the signature
I was only joking anyway ![]()

Who was more popular, Leliana or Morrigan? I suspect it will go the same for Josephine and Cassandra, respectively. Though maybe not, since Josephine isn't a companion.

Leliana by a large margin.
The most popular romance have always been the less hard to romance female LI (both gender access and flow of the romance) and the female LIs always rank higher than the guys.

A lot more people have the Morrigan achievement. Though of course that was quite a lot easier to get than the Leliana one

Really? Morrigan was a lot more interesting though...
For the ladies, I'm guessing Cassandra, and for the men, Cullen. I have a hunch Iron Bull will be more popular among LGBQ+ people.

This type of question kind of needs a poll does't it.
So if I may be so bold...

All I'm saying is this - Cassandra was in DA2, she's the most promoted female character for DA:I, is apparently a huge fan of romantic stuff, and she got her own Movie.
That girl wont need to do a thing to take the #1 spot, especially if they make her mildly Tsundere by putting in dialogue where the Inquisitor can mess with her head and tease her about being a romantic or being overly nice to them when earlier Cassandra was cold.

Queer female here, who is less than thrilled with the fem/fem romance options and so will most likely roll up a male character to romance Dorian. Anecdata, but him being one of the most attractive companions, I'm going to guess I won't be alone...

Man I would be willing to take a mind-altering drug that would force me to find Dorian attractive lol Sigh.

Don't find him attractive eh. I think he's handsome, I have no interest in romancing him though but he's not a bad looking guy IMO.

The most popular. The one who I romance, whoever that may be. Not sure who it will be at this time.

I still think Zevran is the most attractive male romance so far, but Dorian's definitely a close second. As for the ladies, Vivienne is gorgeous, and imo, the most beautiful woman in DA to date.

Of course. And plenty of People who do not take Part in that stupid Poll will agree with you. I do, for sure.

5 pages of people taking wild stabs in the dark about who will be the most popular LI, based on gut feelings. I love it!
Here is my own wild guess:
1. Cassandra
2. Josephine
3. Cullen

I think that would be DAI Cullen for me. He's gorgeous! I would like to see some shots of Blackwall without the helmet though. Oh and I can't forget Sebastian; another gorgeous guy!

Honestly, Cullen was always a little bland, to me. I mean, he's not unattractive at all, I just was never impressed either way. Sebastian is alright, if I didn't hate his personality. Same with Fenris. For me it's basically;
1. Dorian
2. Zevran
3. Fenris
4. Anders
5. Sebastian
6. Alistair
7. Cullen
Just by looks alone. Not necessarily who I would/wouldn't actually want to romance.

My list is pretty much the same as Nocte's, only with Zevran and Dorian switched, as well as Fenris and Anders.
It's kind of interesting that the three straight guys are at the bottom for the both of us. I know straight women, at least, tend to find them the most attractive.

For me, I think it's incidentally related to the trope issue that the "knightly/valiant" type usually ends up straight. It just so happens that it's actually not really my type.

I think it is easier to predict who won't be the most popular, than to predict which one will be the most popular.
With previous Bioware games male characters have been played more often than female characters. That will probably be true with DA:I as well, and if so, it would mean that it won't be Sera (female LI only) or any of the male LIs.
I think it is going to be between Cassandra, Vivienne (if she is an LI), and Josephine. Cassandra and Viv are companion characters that presumably play a large role in the story, whereas Josephine is available to both genders and isn't race gated. If Vivienne is a LI it is possible that she'll be race gated, which could reduce her popularity some.

Oh, that's a good point. Zevran, Dorian, and (to an extent) Anders are more charming and roguish than straitlaced Alistair, Cullen, and Sebastian... which has all sorts of Unfortunate Implications, but then again, the former is more my type anyway.

Just outta curiosity who did you romance in previous DA games? And like you I too was initially disappointed with the f/f options but after becoming more active in this section they've started to grow on me, somewhat, so I'll try em out, might as well I enjoy the romances in these games.

I don't think much can be made of that. Certainly there were plenty of guys upset they could not romance Alistair with their male Wardens. Lots of disappointment regarding Cullen, too. I'm sure if Seb had been a decent romance and not a lame afterthought there'd have been lots of disappointment there, too ![]()
I like more masculine men, which is why I dig (new) Cullen, Blackwall, and Sebastian. I also like older men. Zevran, Fenris, and Dorian are "pretty boys" imo. Not interested ![]()
