First Up I'll say this I Eat Sleep and Live Computer and Video Games, they've been a part of my life since I could read  and it doesn't surprise me much when I dream about them or playing them.  What does is when my dreams about them get weird really weird yet somehow make a lot sense. 

 

Take this recent one for example I was riding through the Hinterlands (I assume it was could have been The Reach been playing a lot of Skyrim recently) with none other than King Arthur and was for some reason or other pointing why he was such a crappy English King mainly cos he ignored his wife slept with his sister and plunged Britannia into war and then Varric Rides up and says " He died a hero's death one worthy of Legend and song and then The Warden turns up to point out that her Death would've have been much Better if she hadn't let Alister sleep with Morrigan. 

 

Varric agreed with this cos a hero's death means a story will sell more copies and goes off to write Commander Shepard the Musical (I swear i'm  not making this up my nutty subconscious did)

 

And then I got an achievement for something  (it can't have been much tho it was only worth 5G) and  then I woke up

 

That was A dream I had a few hours ago and in my experience dreams like this tend to stick around a lot longer than that simply cos their weirdness  So any of you had any weird dreams With DA or any other bioware characters for that matter ones that really stick out?.

 

And should it need to be said  dreams about playing Inquisition or making out with shale need not apply.

Only had one Dream with a DA Character in them, after a Waaaay too late Session of Gaming yesterday.

 

It was so weird, that I actually remember quite a bit.

 

It was Autumn... and early Morning... and I desperately needed a Bus, because I missed the original One... but when I got in... there was the Arishok... sweeping the fallen Leaves away, which inexplicably happened to be in the middle of this extraodinarily wide Bus.

 

We talked a little bit and it seemed like this wasn't the first Time I missed my original Bus and got in to meet the Arishok sweeping the Leaves away.

 

This is where my Memory fails me.

Just recently after watching a lot of DA:I trailers one after another for no particular reason, I had a dream in which I was sitting playing Mass Effect, only to be bothered by Velanna throwing rocks at me and Fenris throwing empty wine bottles at me.

 

Their actions reduced me to tears, at which point Alistair and Cullen came in to the room to comfort me and then lead me into the kitchen.

 

In the kitchen I saw Sten and the Iron Bull in colourful aprons making me my favourite meal.

 

At that point I woke up...I tend to have particularly elaborate and strange dreams, but this dream was as unsettling as it was cool.

I never really have video game related dreams. Weird..

Alright. Weirdest;

All I remember from a few years ago was DA2's Arishok was pushing a baby carriage along a walking path next to a river in my hometown.

It was so strange, I was weirded awake.

It wasn't really a dream but.... I did a yoga therapy group and we did guided meditations from time to time. And in one session we were guided on a short journey, and we were told to picture someone giving us wisdom. Specifically someone female and wise that we respected. I couldn't really settle on anyone I knew in person, so I thought of Flemeth, because I was heavily into DA2 at the time. (Or maybe Asha'bellanar is more accurate in this context.) So I went up Sundermount and she looked at me, sized me up, then said "You're neither Warden nor Darkspawn, so what are you?" Which I understood immediately to mean "You are not your disease." Then she gave me a crystal with a glowing light in it as a token of "wisdom."

 

It was... a very moving experience, if a bit strange.

I remember a while back having a dream about burning victims of a plague and somehow Morrigan creeped her way into it and tried to jump out of a train for some reason that made sense at the time but I forgot when I woke up. Don't really remember the specifics. But I have dreams like that every other day since as far as I remember so it wasn't that special.

 

Can't recall anything more involved though.

Once went to bed after stalking the forums and marathoning a game of Harvest Moon:A New Beginning... I went bug catching with Varric in my dreams.

Had a dream Josephine was a princess, and she had a crown. We were also getting attacked, so she took off her crown and used it as a weapon, it even had a moveset and she kept stabbing people with it. lol.

I rarely dream about games or game characters, but I had a really weird dream a couple of weeks ago. DAI was finally out, but it was a modern day crime drama. My character was flirting with Chris Pine on a boat, but he pulled a gun on her. I don't remember much after that, something about rescuing someone's daughter from slavery.
The UI looked different every time I tried to use it and there were over-the-top japanese hairstyles in the CC.
I felt so devastated. Dorian was there and watched me play for a while. I remember saying to him "Dorian, this game is going to bomb. I'm really sorry you're in it"

I think this dream actually sums up a lot of our fears about the game if it were to be y'know bad, apart from the JRPG Hairstyles having a Qunari with Clouds hairstyle would be freakin hilarious

Playing volleyball with Iron Bull a few nights ago was...interesting. 

 

Silly brain. Silly dreams. Although I can safely testify, that Iron Bull is a very good volleyball player. It was proven. Scientifically.

I find myself romancing Cullen in a dream, he directed me into a cave to kill some kind of monster. I was pretty fuzzy, but all I remember is that in the end, he sacrificed himself to save my behind.

The other night, I dream that Alistair came back in Inquisition, which we know he he will. And that he wanted to #ridethebull. Which I'm pretty sure will not be happening in the game.

 

Had it been a pornographic dream, at least I would have understood what my subconscious was getting at. But no, Alistair was just asking my Inquisitor if she thought he should hit on Iron Bull, while I frantically tried to remember if he was married or not in my current world state.

 

Yeah, I don't even know.

I had a dream involving Morrigan only two days ago. She was already her older self but a bit more covered up than in the pictures so far, cause the part I can remember took place in a very snowy and cold mountain area. Morrigan was trying to do some kind of dark ritual, that could only be performed in a specific place in those mountains. She went there accompanied only by me (I was some sort of younger witch and Morrigan's apprentice) and a rather tough guy from a fantasy-sci-fi story I'm currently writing... just imagine him as Qunari, he is huge and has horns and white hair as well (the similiarities end there, but whatevs ^^).

 

We were on caravans (?) drawn by horses that looked exactly like those of the vagabonds in Fable 2 (thinking about it Morrigan also had a few similiarities with Theresa...) and making our way through the snow, while being hunted by some sort of organisation. I remember that they were the good guys, maybe the Inquisition, but mixed in with some other stuff. They wanted to stop Morrigan, but we had already reached the location were the ritual would take place. For some reason I then decided that Morrigan was doing the wrong thing and betrayed her by running off in order to lead the Inquisiton (?) to her. They made it in time, but while Morrigan was in the middle of the ritual, the Qunari-like-guy was guarding her and fought off everyone who tried to approach her. Even his own brother who was part of the inquisition for some reason. While those two were fighting each other, Morrigan finished the ritual, leading to a magical explosion that caused an avalanche and burried most of us under snow. Somehow everyone managed to survive and when the leader of the organization (maybe the Inquisitor, I don't know) confronted Morrigan, he realized that he now had no other chance to stopping the big bad than by going with Morrigan's plan.

 

There was a little more drama about one of the brothers thinking the other one had died and Morrigan was also a little pissed at me for betraying her and stuff, but we still all returned to my house, where the Inquisition's headquarters were located.  

 

It was actually quite locical for a dream and probably not the weirdest one, but it was DA-related and recent, so I still remember it.

I once had a dream where Cullen somehow ended up in our world and opened a little store where he sold guns and pet supplies.

I don't remember any particularly weird ones, or much detail (too much of a rush lately), but I had a dream last week where I left a field of some kind with Morrigan, a walk and talk about some actual things going on, we walked over a bridge, then she stopped to tell me what I need to do. I don't remember what. Then we went through the gate and into like a large ready room with a number of other people, and we started planning a siege. Then I'm like 'where's Leliana?' because I just associate them together, I guess. So I turn around, and there's Leli getting ready, and she's like, 'I'm ready to go.' lol Nothing too weird. I think I'm just ready for DA:I.

 

I had another dream of just fighting battles and travelling Thedas a year or two ago that I remember because it was so vivid, but the only kind of funny thing I remember about it was shifting perspective out of myself at the end looking for UI elements. I was like, 'oh, this is a dream..' And that woke me up. I wasn't really bothered about all the fighting; I've had sword fighting dreams and things like that almost as long as I can remember. I've died in dreams a few times (not that one). Those aren't nightmarish to me, more like exercise? I guess that's fairly rare, unusual.

I once had a dream that I was fighting darkspawn on the roofs of my city jumping and slashing, going from roof to roof. It would have been awesome but I was trying to search for my family and was actually freaking out. Got surrounded and was swearing like crap when Alistair busted in and saved me. He said we were going to find my family and then I woke up. Also had a dream where I was trying to protect Tali from geth with a shotgun once. Nothing since but nice to think back one them.
