On my seventh Xbox wireless currently. Some really didn't die from wear but made my headset sound like an aircraft was landing with charge based weapons.

Logitech Performance MX. Those 3 thumb buttons work pretty well for me (and 4th for "OMFG switch to missle now" situations) and it's big enough for my large hands.

As for the keyboard, A4Tech X7 - a cheap excuse for Logitech stuff I guess, but hey, it has red rubber on WASD (it gets my wife pretty pissed too once in a while).

Creative Fatal1ty headset - but most of the time I don't wear it properly so I can react when the 2yo wakeks up in the middle of the night.

I use a standard, old controller with a broken left joystick and worn rubber pads and a rechargeable battery with a questionable life span.

Some would call me stingy for not bothering to replace yet another worn controller but I think it just shows how dedicated I am to using things till they turn to dust.

Cheap Microsoft wired keyboard obtained at a grocery store.

Razer Deathadder Mouse, which I got on sale around the holidays for about $27 instead of the usual $69.99 they retail at.

Cheap Sony headset.

Cheap ancient cloth mouse pad which is the source of much agony since the cloth is all rippled and my mouse gets stuck on it frequently.

I'm cheap.

Standard wireless 360 up until the A button started to get all mushy and kind of unresponsive. I wonder why...

Yeah... I just bought a new 360 controller because my A button pretty much stopped working.  When I would hold it down to run, my character would start and stop over and over.  I was playing nothing but Jugg for about a week because of that.

Please tell me that keyboard was the only thing you bought at that grocery store. That would've been hilarious  Also because food is op and I consider nourishment a crutch.

I'm on standard Wireless 360 controller # 2. I do have the 'charge as you play' cord.

Like others, on controller # 1 my 'A' button started doing what it wanted only when it felt like it, plus the stick started 'catching' up and to the left (yay for turns on ME3! I'm not an ambi-turner) so it made taking/staying in cover next to impossible (other than the cover system deciding that I *should* take cover).

I like the 360 controller just fine - other than wearing it out. I'll get an Xbone at some point, have they changed the controller much for that system?

If you are on console, do you use the standard Xbox360 or PS3 controller?

Yes.

I use the official wireless controllers on PS3 and Xbox (on my second due to a wandering left stick), both with silicone skins.  My PS3 also has add-on triggers and thumb grips.

My personal preference, by a country mile, is for the PS3 controller, to the extent that I don't look forward to playing on Xbox, knowing that I'll probably waste an ops pack every time I try to hide my missile launcher!  That d-pad is an objectively bad design though, seriously.

I have Turtle Beach PX5 headphones.  Great sound, but the mic interferes in some way with my wi-fi so it drops out a bit.  I hardly ever use it so it's not a big deal.

You guys above have some really fancy toys, I'm still with my century old Logitech G1 mouse, its accidental auto-clicks waste lots of my claymore shots.

Used to play with 10 years olf microsoft keyboard and mouse. Now I changed them. The keyboard is a Perixx apparently, and the mouse a Drakonia Black. At least I can set the sensibility over 10 dpi...

Laptop keyboard and old Logitech 5 button wireless. I'd get something better but can't afford it.

Edit: I do own three Perixx keyboards, they're great.

Standard PS3 controller, with some attachments to deal with the stupid design of the triggers.

For PC, I have a DasKeyboard Professional paired with a Logitech G400.

And for my headset, I use the old model Sony Wireless Surround for both platforms.

For the PS3 I bought that Afterglow gamepad since the two stores I went too were sold out of PS4 gamepads + was pretty cheap enough anyways, and I very badly needed to get away from the horror that is the PS3 gamepad (ditto for PS2 & 1. Worst gamepads ever). This Afterglow gamepad even follows the X-Box 360 way of things with the analog/D-Pad placement and stiffer analog sticks instead of the super flimsy PS3 kind. It's more comfortable then the PS3 fitting my hand wise, but still not as comfortable as the X-Box 360 one. Though sadly I won't touch ME3mp anymore, only single player mode. So now I have a better PS3 gamepad for my other games. Still plan on buying the PS4 one any day now though, since I just have to know if Sony got it right this time? (Though they still didn't fix the worst part of it, the horrible D-Pad, cause well, Sony hates 2D gaming. *sigh* But I have a D-Pad overlays I used as a fix for the PS3 D-Pad and still use for my PSPs).

I don't know man... have you ever tried playing a Jaguar?
Atari_Jaguar_Controller_Pic3.jpg

And the Xbox d-pad is objectively worse. At least with Playstation controllers, each direction has it's own cutout so it's harder to hit the wrong direction.

To those who are wearing out their Xbox360 controllers, are these wired or wireless? I ask because I use the wireless ones and they seem to be better built. The thumb sticks all go slightly wobbly after a while but they still work well.

The best standard controller of all that I've come across is the Pro Controller for the WiiU, but sadly very few seem to have experienced that.

So far I'm seeing a lot of Razer and Logitech love. Some, but only a few, people have explained why they find their kit useful or game-enhancing for them.

So, another question: Do you choose your kit for ME3MP needs specifically, or is it that you got it for general purpose or for other games?
