The forums aren't everybody, though.
They're a seriously obsessed, tiny, devoted, probably neurotic section of their fanbase.
Bioware cannot and should not use the BSN's potential reaction as a reason to influence the timing of their reveals.
Looking at the posts of five or ten "omg I'm worried about multiplayer" fans are absolutely useless when the fate of the game will be decided by millions of other people.
And how can you conclude that people will be annoyed at a late reveal if it's literally just you who keeps saying it and talking about broken trust? I've seen far more posts here that look forward to MP, even *if* we're using this thread as a measurement of fan reactions, which is silly in itself.
That dismissing other people thing I mentioned? You're doing it again.
I am not the only one expressing concern about MP. Though I am probably one of the more vocal ones.
And after ME3, yes, they should take more care in how and when MP gets announced. And do it sooner rather than later so they can demonstrate that this time they actually carried the one or whatever to show it won't have an affect on SP if you don't want to participate.
Because, you know, people remember that. If that wasn't an embarrassing moment for Bioware, it should be.
I predict i the next week or so it will be officially announced, followed by a tsunami of tweets about how awesome it is. (the word 'awesome' will be used a lot) And we'll get a MP system with a cute "Galaxy at War" name like Culling of Demons or somesuch.
