Yeah, and I can't see any reason why a fan site would make something like this up.
Still going to be a bit cautious about leaping to conclusions though.
'cause they're Russian XDDD. No offence!

You are kidding, right?
Why would I be kidding? This is an RPG. The last bastion of games in this day and age that, for all intents and purposes, are single-player focused. If multiplayer takes over RPGs like Dragon Age, then I cannot support games like Dragon Age any longer. Why do we always need tacked-on multiplayer? Why? I don't care how good it is, or how many people play it long after the single player is over with. The fact remains that this an RPG we are talking about. I have never cared about multiplayer in most games, least of all RPGs. You have mutliplayer in pretty much every other game genre out there. Leave my beloved series alone.
I have loved being on these forums and I would totally miss you guys but a man's got to take a stand.
ME3 had a single achievement that could only be unlocked through MP.
Good point.

That and it's just another signal that the game is being treated the same way ME3 was.
Can't wait to pick the ending by making my hand glow Red, Blue or Green.

Given that cRPGs are based off an inherently multiplayer game, "this is an RPG" doesn't mean much.
The answer to why Dragon Age might have multiplayer is obvious: enough people want it.
5 bucks says the addition of multiplayer is the reason for the delay

I'll take that bet.

Yeah, except this is a story driven RPG. Story-driven RPGs are a whole other beast man.
Why is there only one multiplayer achievement? Why are all the icons from DA2?
Because, if these do turn out to be true (I have my doubts), I would imagine that the achievement image would be the last thing to get done. They also all read as 0, instead of showing the point number. It's a work in progress.

I'll bet you a million dollars it's not.
That's a pretty silly statement to make.
You think they could develop a multiplayer mode in six weeks?
It's been in development for years.
Yeah, except this is a story driven RPG. Story-driven RPGs are a whole other beast man.
PnP RPGs aren't story-driven...?
MP also isn't taking the place of the story-driven RPG. Nothing is lost. Know what I did with the bad Tomb Raider multiplayer? Ignored it, got all the trophies for SP, called it quits. I wasn't about to miss an amazing game because it had multiplayer as well.
If they haven't announced by now "No", I'd say it is in.
Why they haven't said yes, probably still working on the details on how to make it work. I'd assume they've settled on some sort of co-op drop in/out story or a "dungeon crawler" type mode.
They're probably still encountering issues with it and aren't comfortable enough with it atm to announce it as they may cut it or delay it like GTA5.
Plus they've mentioned things specifically titled "Single player DLC/premium content" which implies that there are other kinds of DLC. Usually those words are selected quite specifically.

Im not saying they're adding it now, im saying they still cant get it to work
Hmmmm... that list sounds like the fakiest fake in faketown. There would be more than one achievement tied to MP. In ME3, there were several that were worded like, "Do this in MP or this in SP."
The others are all super generic and mention people/places we've already seen. There would be at least a few marked "This is a hidden achievement." There's one that has a big placeholder for a location name. There's no way they haven't got all the locations named by now! Especially when other locations are named. The big spoilery 'end game' achievements are listed first, when usually those are near the end of the list. Plus the one with the named enemy would absolutely be a 'hidden' achievement.

This part, they could also use that because they want to make sure people don't think its another Digital Content DLC like one of the packs is getting, plus another one is getting digital sountrack, so specifying SP heads off questions on if its just going to be more songs/pictures/wallpaper
Im not saying they're adding it now, im saying they still cant get it to work
Except you said this:

They want to sell the game.
Any marketing department would be shouting from the rooftops by now if it had a multiplayer. I hate that it's true but there is a significant portion of the gaming community who will only buy a game if it's multiplayer.

You're essentially rooting for Bioware to chase after two hares here. If you're going to make a series that is solely single-player and story-driven for the first two games, you don't go and make the third game some weird hybrid between single-player and mutliplayer. That's a recipe for disaster. Bioware needs to decide if they're going to focus on making this is the best single-player RPG ever or something else entirely. You can't have both. And as we all know....If you chase after two hares, you'll catch neither.

I'm curious, are you upset at Bethesda too for ESO? They've only ever made SP games for TES, but now they made a multiplayer TES game
Except you said this:

Okay, im responcible for my poor choice of words ![]()

The list was clearly unfinished though, since it had placeholder art and some location names.
I imagine "hiding" an achievement is done at the end of the process.
The list was also in alphabetical order, which explains why some big spoilers appeared early on.
